This is a great choice if you are visiting for a few days. The hotel has a lot of amenities, the staff is very nice and helpful and the rooms are tiny, but good and comfortable. We had breakfast included and it wasn’t great, but it was ok (eggs, toast, coffee, milk, juice...). Walking distance from bus stops and metro station. The neighborhood was very good. The only thing we didn’t like was that you could smell the smoke from the other rooms coming in trough the ac vents. But even with that, considering the price and what you get, it was great! I do recommend it!
Very recommended for family who wants to visit disneyland/sea. The location is near Kasai station and bus stop. Pro: - the location. Near Kasai station (tozai line). About 200m - easy to go to/back airport. As the airport limousine bus stop is at the main street of kasai st. - many shops, convenience store and restaurant and also 100yen shop near station. - hotel room price included breakfast and it was nice. - family friendly hotel (triple room can accomodate us 2 adult dan 2 kids.) - facilities such as washing machine, dryer, microwave. Cons: - the bed was quite hard for me. The hotel at that time was refurbishing the rooms. Unfortunately I was staying at the unrenovated one. I think the new room will be nice and fresh. We will plan to go to japan in the future and hope can stay in lumiere kasai again with good price.😊
Small room but comfortable as advertised. With fridge. Shower pressure was fantastic. Breakfast was decent with western options. Friendly helpful Staff. As our Japanese language is non existent some staff spoke English which was great. Convenience store and supermarkets close by. American Fast food within walking distance plus local options (most had English menus). Close to Kasai Metro train station and bus station so we could travel everywhere. There is a bus that goes to Disneyland and Tokyo Sea Life Park. If you have not organised a subway pass travel to Nihombashi station with passport and buy a cheap pass (72,48 24 Hour available). We went to the Metro museum near Kasai station they had hard copy info of the metro system. Travelling from Haneda Airport go to the bus counter. Limousine bus will take you to KASAi station from there about 250 metres to hotel. Keep Macdonald's on your left and just walk. Bus is cheaper than Taxi The Airport has a pamphlet on useful Japanese phrases. You can also use the subway system to Kasai I think Bus is easier on arrival and we trained backed to the airport after after using the subway for over a week.
Perfect location for anyone wanting to travel Tokyo! First of all, the staff are very helpful and accomodating. The cleaners are also very lovely. It has a nice atmosphere. Also, the buffet seemed to be a great option, however there are no vegan options and only a few vegetarian options, so I didn't eat from it but from what I could see it had a good variety. Great location, not even a 5min walk from Kasai station. Up to 30mins from popular destinations such as Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno etc. I took a shuttle bus from Narita airport that took me straight to the hotel, which was very convenient. One day I actually explored the area itself - there are lots of lovely parks nearby. I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent place to base yourself for a Disney trip as it’s close to the bus terminal which bring you to both DisneySea and Disneyland as well as the limousine buses to Haneda (half hour) and Narita airports. Breakfast was decent as well and I especially love the curry paans as well as the different range of breads they have (milk, strawberry, matcha flavoured). On a side note, was walking distance to the Metro Museum which was a hoot for my kids!
The hotel Kasai was the start of our Japan trip. we caught the airport limousine(bus) from Haneda airport. It took about 45 minutes where we stopped at the local bus station. The hotel is about 400 metres from the stop which makes its location very handy. The room was a decent size as it was a triple and included a basic but reasonable breakfast. In the room it had a microwave, washing machine which we used on several times and a small hot plate and sink with a small fridge. . I would use this hotel again as close to a Lawsons, train station at Kasai, a supermarket near the station and the bus station to get back to Haneda. Be aware the train to Tokyo from 8-9am is absolutely packed as it is a very popular line. Coming home at a later time 7pm it was still very crowded for a few stops.
This is a nice hotel that is just a 5 min walk to the metro kasai station. From the airport we took the bus and alighted in Kasai station just 5 min walk from the hotel. There's not much restaurants nearby but plenty of convenience stores like 7 eleven, family mart and lawson. We booked 4 family rooms each one with three beds. Each room is ample sized which is unusual given how small hotel rooms are in Tokyo. Unfortunately the front desk officers have difficulty understanding english which isn't nice for foreign guest. Breakfast is available at the ground floor however food choices were limited. There's a vendo machine in almost every floor near the lift so there's no need to go out if you're thirsty. Rooms were a bit expensive but deals were available on line. Rooms were clean and there's no nasty smell. Special mention to the toilet and bath which is capacious. Some rooms have their own laundry washing machine. Overall it was a pleasant stay but there was a room for improvement to attract more foreign guest.
Location: few meters away from kasai station Near convenience store such as lawsons, 7-11 just across the street Small lobby but they have an open court with alfresco area Don’t book on the exact day’ In case booking on the day at the hotel Try to book first at agoda or trivago prior entering the hotel to save money! Language- staff at the lobby were not so fluent in speaking English but they will try to understand as much as they could. We booked rooms with breakfast ;) 7-10am - bread, sausages, scrambled eggs, milk, coffee, juice, potato salad ;) must try Room: Spacious enough but a bit small than other hotels we visited; Plus factor is- they have a kitchenette You can cook ;) to save budget in eating from fancy restaurants or fast foods (we are a group of 12 adults and 4 kids) so cooking is really a big help. Bathroom: Wide enough ;) heater, toiletries were complete, they even have a body towel sachet, water closet in Japan really has hygienic features that i am hoping we can have it also in our home ;) Suggestions: I hope the staff can learn to speak english fluently so that communicating with Foreign tourists Would be easy. Price per day- better book early prior staying to get the best deal!
We arrived Lumiere Kasai at night from Narita airport terminal 2. As we walk out from the arrival hall, there is a keisei bus counter which you could buy your bus ticket directly to Kasai station. Very convenient and easy. Once arrived Kasai station, you just need to walk about 5 min to the Lumiere Kasai hotel. Check in and staff is very friendly. The rest a lot of restaurant, fast food and convenient store around the hotel. Our favourite store will be 7eleven, hotto motto bento restaurant just opposite the hotel is a takeaway food. Just simply delicious! (Must try and affordable too). To Disneyland and Disneysea there is a direct bus just about 20 minutes ride. To the city or main attraction, there is Kasai station that brings you everywhere. Is about 30 to 1 hour depends where you are going. But for us it was just easy and abit of exercise as well to burn of our calories 😆. Our room,we had a triple bed room.(2 adult and 2 kids age 8 & 5 years old) fits perfectly as we joined the three bed together. There is microwave, pyjamas for kids, robes for adult and other basic amenities. Wifi signal is good. There is laundromat at certain floor with a cost of 200 yen for washing and 200 yen for dryer. You can buy the washing and softener at the reception for 50 yen each. Housekeeping staff did a very good job every day!! Comes back with clean comfortable room.. Daily breakfast is provided for free, sufficient breakfast to start a day even though is the same breakfast every morning. Overall it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay here at Lumiere Kasai hotel.
Hotel 2 blocks away from direct airport bus from either NRT or HND in a safe neighbourhood. Only 2 blocks away from Kasai Metro. Many restaurants and super markets within 2 blocks from hotel. Breakfast adequate, fresh and replenished regularly, but not much variation day to day. Rooms are fair size and clean, housekeeping does a good job daily. Our room has a kitchenette, and we see some rooms even has a washer in the room without additional charge. Staff is courteous but rather reserved. However, they were happy to assist whenever we approach them with an inquiry. Would certainly return to this hotel again if opportunity arise in the future.
