Wonder staff food was asome
Tijuana is a party town, what I like about Hotel Ticuan is its just far enough away from the parties you can relax and not have to hear the craziness all night. Everyone in town knows where it is cab drivers are always just outside the door if you need one. I walk to most of my favorite places. Vans to Playas de Tijuana are an 8 block walk. World famous hotel Caesar is only a few blocks down the Avenue for a real Caesar Salad. For me its the go to hotel. The restaurant is the weakest link in the property. Bland underwhelming food is the specialty of the house. The breakfast buffet is surprisingly tasty and complimentary for hotel guests. For Lunch and dinner I would head out because the alacart restaurant is lame. Same goes for the lounge. Its a nice place to watch a game or have a beer but the food and cocktails are unremarkable in every way. Overall the hotel is clean, safe, and reasonable. Great food is close by there is no reason to settle for their restaurant. Service is always efficient albeit not particularly friendly. I look forward to staying here again for clean comfortable close accommodations.
Another great and relaxing stay at Ticuan. Today's deluxe suite was on the fifth floor and it was in much better condition than the seventh floor room from my last stay. The television was broken when I checked in but the front desk promptly sent someone to my room to fix it. Otherwise no complaints at all. It really is like a home away from home for me.
I've stayed in Hotel Ticuan's deluxe suites dozens of times and they are definitely my accommodation of choice in downtown Tijuana. The deluxe suite s were all newly constructed after a large structure fire and they have been the best rooms in town for a few years now. Unfortunately the rooms are starting to show signs of wear. The staff does a great job of making sure that everything remains in good working order but its no longer what I would consider four star accommodations. It is still amenity laden and in a good part of town but for $125 a night it is no longer the great value that it once represented.
Clean room and easy to check in. Conveniently next to everything like revolution st. All in walking distance.
Excellent staff. Great hotel.
The air conditioning was terrible. It was akin to staying in a freezer.
Very comfortable beds and air conditioning. Would stay there agian.
Clean room. Good staff.
Clean with friendly staff.
Good staff,clean room.
I like how the staff helped
friendly staff
The Ticuan Deluxe Suite remains my favorite accomodations in Tijuana. Centrally located with all of the amenities that I'm looking for. Just one slight hiccup this visit: The TV remote was broken but I was quickly brought a replacement unit. The jacuzzi tub had plenty of hot water and the shower's water pressure was like standing under a fire hose lol
