I know its Mexico but I paid way too much for this hotel room in TJ, Ive stayed in far better in Costa Rica for 50 a night. Room was outdated but it was CLEAN, The cleaning lady does a excellent job. I wasnt impressed with the age, mid 70s for sure. I also believe the price I AGREED to on booking was less than what I was charged at the hotel. Im double checking after this review.
Had a great time. The food is always the best👍the hotel was a good place. It was my first time at the hotel and I was surprised how nice it was for what I paid for. It was a short walk to restaurants and stores.
Stayed here for one night, super cheap payed about $40 with taxes and all, it was about a $5 taxi ride from the border. Loved the location, less then a 5 minute walk to the revolución where all of the night clubs, bars and restaurants are located that was mainly why I chose this place. The room was decent, had a huge bathroom, didn't eat in their restaurant. The guy at the main office was super nice and spoke English, they had security guards standing outside all night which makes you feel safe. I would most definitely stay here again if I go back, I went to Las pulgas which is one of the best nightclubs there, literally the next street over so no need to take a taxi or anything like that, there is also a 7/11 super close.
For the price, it was a good deal. Not the FANCIEST HOTEL in Tijuana, but very doable. Only bad thing about this hotel is that the Air Conditioning wasn't working!!Positives about the hotel are: free parking, secure parking lot (security on watch) ,two blocks away from avenida revolucion, bar and buffet upstairs. Overall, it was average.
Super clean, comfortable rooms w/all necessary mod-cons (including much improved WIFI), excellent security, and quiet environment only a block away from Av. Revolucion would suffice for a positive recommendation, but the friendly, courteous, helpful staff - with incredible memories (!) - puts Zaragosa in the five star category. And if you are traveling alone, or with someone suffering from chronic FoT (Fear of Tijuana), by all means stay here. No worries!
Stay here if you want a deal. I have stayed at most of the hotels in Zona Centro (not dumps) and on the ave of presidents. I have paid as low as 20 bucks and as high as 150 DOLLARS!! The prices here vary depending on the time of year and the time of week. I just paid 36 bucks including tax and this was way better than Aqua Rio. Or whatever that place is everyone raves about. This place is quiet and has a guard to keep your property safe. The staff is super friendly and willing to help you in any way they can. I have stayed here multiple times over the years and have always been happy. Highly Recommended. Oh, the TV has both american and mexican channels and the WIFI is GREAT!
Yes, it's just a couple of minutes' walk from Av Revolucion, but not the good part! That's a few blocks further. My room was nicer than I expected for the price, and included a variety of toiletries and other essentials. The restaurant is ok, but you can find excellent food for much better prices around this area.
Is an ok place to stay. Is old but is a good option for safety, price and near to the Center and the border. We didn't like the bathroom because it smells weird at night and the lights in our room didn't work. But is quiet and you can rest well. Good option for short stays.
I had a dinner in this hotel with my friend. We had New York steak and Carne Asada, and especially, Carne Asada was tasty. Next to the restaurant hall, there is a large bar. When we visited this restaurant, the bar area had almost no guests though. The staff members were friendly and this restaurant can be recommendable for those who like steaks.
I have stayed at La Villa de Zaragoza a few times. I like this place because it is centrally located. Close to Revolucion. Lots of places to go for music or entertainment, shopping or just stroll. May places to eat, including a restaurant almost next door. It is located behind the Jai Alai. There is a 7-11 on the next block. Parking and security on site. A bar and restaurant on site. The rooms a clean and comfortable. They are a bit out dated but in good condition. We have not encountered any problems thus far. There is an Ice machine available, air conditioning works well, and beds are comfortable.
