Perfect location - right in heart of old tallin - walk anywhere and 15 minutes form airport. Lovely rook, we had top floor overlooking old city (could not see a lot - but very small balcony which was nice). Staff are great - expert in what they do, helpful and courteous. Breakfast excellent and in house restauraunt (evening dining) - just the best.

The hotel is located directly in the old town, which may be an issue for those in a car, since the road is blocked from traffic at times. Check in was prompt and very polite. And we were supposedly upgraded at no charge (although I had booked an executive room originally). The hotel itself is very majestic and luxurious and certainly looks the part of a world class hotel. And every interaction with the staff was pleasant. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, with a large, soft bed, a few chairs, much closet space, and a large bathroom. The room itself isn't particularly large, but served our purposes nicely. We were on the top floor, which had a small window view out over the old town (the windows opened). Wi-fi was fine, with no losses in service that I noticed. Breakfast was very well done, with all the usual buffet items you would expect, as well as other varieties not always seen. Juice was fresh squeezed. And there was a small menu for ordering some hot breakfast dishes. We did eat at the restaurant for dinner one night and it was fabulous, with great attention from the staff, as well as some complimentary items from the chefs. The drink menu was also impressive, as well as a decent selection of local beers. The appetizers and entrees were simply perfect. I had no idea pumpkin could be so tasty! It is a bit pricey running about 150 euros for two, but this is a luxury hotel, so that is to be expected. The spa and pool are was also very nice. There is a whirlpool, sauna, steam room and plunge pool (meaning it is purposely a bit chilly until you get accustomed). The only downside are the really odd hours, opening at 3 pm on weekdays. This was very disappointing as we wanted to use it in the early afternoon before we checked out on our last day there. In summary, this is a fantastic place to stay. The location is also perfect, near the main square and with plenty of great eateries in the area. It certainly earns it's stars.

Lovely building, good friendly service, very comfortable room although a bit small. Perfect central location, - 1 minute from the central square -, good breakfast.despite 2 fried eggs appearing as an omlette!. The reception staff were especially welcoming and helpful and it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. There was one particular bread served at breakfast which I liked, and one of the reception staff offered to go and buy it for me if I couldn't find it - he was so kind! The spa ie pool and sauna, was especially welcome to warm up from the cold (-2) outside! This is a valuable amenity which equivalent hotels eg 3 Sisters do not have. I would return if I went back to Tallinn.

Perfect location in the old town of Tallinn. Professional reception, helpfull staff, good food, comfortable bed in spacious hotel room, not to forget service. Wintertime one feels fine staying inside, summertime garden gives an extra place to rest for visitors. Naturally not the cheapest choice.

Superbly located in an historic building, sensitively renovated and quirkily (thematically), decorated, the Telegraaf is the perfect base for a break in Tallinn. Room requests were fulfllled: the room itself was comfortable, utterly quiet, warm (sometimes too warm) spotlessly clean and well-furnished; the bed was soft but comfortable and the bathroom had lovely soft (not the hotel's doing!) water, piping hot, fresh towels and Elemis toiletries. Robes, umbrellas, slippers; all present and correct. free Wi-Fi. The staff on the front desk were pleasant, ever-ready to help and a credit to the management. Minuses: there is no proper bar - but Tallinn has many, many of those!; breakfast is (as ever) vastly overpriced but the Reval Cafe up the road will see you right; turndown is ludicrously early (5:30pm!?!) and the lack of fresh milk in the mini-bar for with tea was puzzling. But my four stars is well-deserved and the price of £125/night was good value..

Perfect location in the heart of the old city, close to really amazing restaurants. Rooms are cozy and have nice amenities. The sauna and pool areas are also great. Would definitely stay here again! Can't give five stars though because of subpar service - no one to help us with our bags when we arrived or left; when calling to request a converter for the outlets, the front desk said they would call back and never did; no greeting from the front desk ever, etc.

We stayed in Tallinn at this hotel in March 2012. Even today my partner still talks about that trip, it was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at with such rich and luxurious décor. The room was great and the bed was huge, we had a quilt each and a mint on the pillow each evening with the bed turned down! Such a nice touch! Breakfast had a great selection of food, including little mini choc brownies and bubbly! the Location was excellent, we were central to the old town where the beautiful buildings surrounding us with plenty of eateries and nightlife nearby!

This luxury hotel is located at 1 minutes walk from central square of Tallinn old city. At the time we arrived to the hotel, we got a room with twin bed although we booked one queen bed room. We asked reception to change the room with a queen bed room but in reality they do not have any queen bed room but two twin bed next to each other and it looks a queen bed. The bed was extremely soft and we felt it quite uncomfortable. Selection of breakfast was very good with freshly cooked eggs separately served. The ambient of breakfast room was also excellent and we were able to enjoy relaxed breakfast! Although the hotel is located at the heart of down town, we did not notice any noise in the evening from outside even our room was facing to outside.

What's not to love? Nice rooms, all of a good size, excellent staff, a great little spa (which we had all to ourselves), and an excellent restaurant (we opted for 3 course a la carte and all the dishes were lovely). We loved this hotel. The only thing it lacks if we're being fussy is a more comfy and bigger bar area.

Great location & great room sizes for family of 3. Best breakfast and loving the inner yeard during the summer season. You can listen jazz and sip your cooling drink. Just remember to order the omelets from the menu during the breakfast. The pool is best part of this hotel. Service is always top here. Nothing to complain and thats why we visit this hotel so ofter. Of course when you visit so many times during the years since the year 1 they started you would kind of start to expect some kind of special remembering from them....
