The room was in great condition, everything worked and was virtually spotless, it's not often you can genuinely say this about a hotel. The public areas we clean and tidy and the environment very comfortable. The Horisont bar and restaurant on the top floor of the hotel was a great place to visit, we found the food and drink excellent (if a little pricey) but that's probably the price you pay for the amazing view. The staff were, without exception, helpful, attentive, polite and well turned out. The only downsides? Partly due to some upgrades and works some of the usual bars/restaurants were not available but we were really just unlucky with the timing of our visit. The Horisont is quite expensive compared to other external venues, but it's a treat, right?

The hotel is superb and with affordable prices. Service is very good and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms made of Bisazza Mosaic are truly an unexpected bonus. The only minor flaw is the size of room service portions which are a little too small. But that can be improved of course!

Ver beautiful and clean room. Everything you need for a good rest. Breakfast could be better organized. Now it was in a noisy hall, clients and personnel hanging around. It was diffucult to get coffee or juice as all clients were in the same queue. I felt I am in the railway station. Pool was excellent and you felt welcomed.

The Swissotel Tallinn is beyond a doubt the best Hotel in Riga. Sure Riga is not a big Metropolitan City and it is mainly a Hub for Scandinavian Banking and Insurance Companies. So you cannot expect too many International Hotel Brands or otherwise High Class Hotels. However, I have stayed here before and enjoyed it a lot but was very disappointed with the Non Attentive, Non Smiley Service from the Staff. However, this was not the case this time and it certainly has improved. My Favourite is the Pool at 31C and the Sauna with the City view the cool bathroom in the rooms, the food and drinks in the lounge and the central location. Many families come here and enjoy the great SPA and Pool.

Great location for airport - taxi was only 7 euros and we just jumped in one right outside of the airport. A 10-15 minute walk into the old town centre which was fine. You need to take the credit card you paid with. We didn't have ours with us as it was an old card so we had to pay again and they refunded our original payment. Wish we had have known this. Nice breakfast and we had room service a couple of times which was also very nice. Lovely bath and shower and we had a beautiful view out to the harbour. We were on the 22nd floor so would recommend a high floor for the views. Beautiful cakes available in the lobby.

My wife and I went on honeymoon to Tallinn and we were pleasantly surprised when the lady at the counter, Aanastasia, kindly offered to give us a nicer room for our stay. We did not expect such kindness, but it was greatly appreciated. The whole experience of checking in, having our luggage transported to our room, and every of our needs being addressed promptly was great and we loved our stay there, thoroughly, to say the least. The room itself was very comfortable with all the ammenities any traveler would need, eg coffee machine, toiletries, comfortable bed, and what stands out is the view from the window - amazing view of Tallinn! The bath and showers were soothing, while the location of the hotel (close to the city centre) is extremely convenient. The hotel and staff are very hospitable and always greeting the residents with a smile and a warm welcome. It is one of the best hotels I have been at. Another plus point unrelated to the hotel - it is close to the department store (Stockmann) and there is a supermarket where you can try simple Tallinn food, and other local produces. If you are a business traveler needing to bring a souvenir to your loved ones/friends, then, you can easily find something there.

The check-in was smooth and professional. They were prepared for our arrival. Our room was on the 14th floor and it was clean, spacious and comfortable. A good size bathroom with separate shower and bath. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. We chose pillows from the pillow menu which were delivered very promptly. The room temperature was perfect for us. I assume the normal breakfast room was being refurbished as when we stayed breakfast was held in a function room on the 6th floor. It felt like a school dining room, but nevertheless there was a good selection of dishes for all palates. I was disappointed that the spa facilities were not included in our room price. Apparently, because we had booked a seasonal special deal this was not included. The price we paid to use the steam rooms & pool was €10pp. I'm a smoker, so I liked the smoking room on the 30th floor. Don't worry non-smokers it was well contained. Excellent Wifi connection included in the room price. I would recommend the hotel.

I wanted a luxury hotel stay and choosing this hotel was a nice decision. Our room was clean and spacious, our bathroom had a lovey bathtub and a shower space separately, the spa of the hotel was nice to visit, also there were good restaurants in the hotel. I must say that the view from our room was so amazing. This time we could only stay for one night, but next time we would spend at least 2 nights in a row :)

It has been a three years from my last visit and I can see great progress hotel made after upgrading quality of the hotel, rooms, restaurants, wellness etc. Nice, quiet and clean. Great location 10 minutes walk to down town as well a harbor.

Me and my partner stayed in Swissotel Tallinn for a week in August 2016 and we both truly enjoyed our time there. We had a room on the 18th floor facing the harbor and the view was absolutely stunning. We even managed to see a rainbow above the sea! On our first night we ordered room service, the food came fast and was very delicious. The room was cleaned and bed made every day, it was really nice to return from our walks in old town and find the room in mint condition. Our floor was very quiet, no bothersome noise and the blackout curtains were a welcome addition. It was such a wonderful stay and we both hope to one day return!
