Excellent location, good breakfast with a variety of selections to choose from. Rooms spacious and cleaning done in a good manner. Lobby bar is cosy and has friendly staff. Overall nice stay. Also liked the taxi service.
Nordic Hotel Forum is one of the popular 'upmarket' hotels in the city centre. Adjacent to the old town and Viru shopping Centre, Nordic is a large hotel and conference centre (it also hosts the consulate for Monaco on the 1st floor - who knows why they need a consulate in Estonia). During conferences the kitchen seems to plate up the same food day after day, but otherwise the breakfast is very nice and the bar is a popular hangout area for patrons and general tourists and business(wo)men. There is a sauna with jacuzzi and a reasonably sized pool on the top floor - usually full of Finnish tourists looking for an evening of fun in Tallinn (cue winky face).
I stayed in a suite, discovered in the morning that the water coming out of the taps was straight up brown, polluted. I had drank the water in the evening while brushing teeth and got very concerned. Informed the hotel staff asap, they said they would look into it. When i came back in the afternoon, they said they had fixed the issue, but didn't tell me what the issue was. Effectively, the brown color had disappeared, but i didn't even get an apology from the hotel. Pretty unnerving. Do not drink water out of the tap and be careful even using it for anything else. The whole hotel is marketed as a 4-star, and feels a lot more like a 3-star throughout.
We stay here every time we come to Tallinn. Just because everything is perfect - from location and comfort of the room and to service and breakfast. Very nice friendly personnel.Surrounding is also very nice.
Despite not getting the greatest sleep the night I was here there was nothing in the hotel that I could point to as the reason. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room clean and big enough. I prefer a bath to a shower, but the shower available was good enough, if a little lacking in water pressure. Breakfast selection was vast and generally very good.
Thank you for very nice welcome fruit plate and a bottle of bubbly in our suite. Very well located hotel, clean and organised. Our suite was spacious enough for one night stay but bathroom amenities did not include hair conditioner or body lotion. I did not expect shaving or dental kits to be available in a 4* hotel but conditioner should be basic amenity. Staff was ok and pleasant enough, not overly friendly. Bright stars were a bellboy who said hello in the morning and elderly lady in the breakfast room wishing us a good day. Overall ok experience, I did not expect 5* service, I was just slightly surprised by the lack of bathroom amenities and staff's lack of interest . The reason I give only 3* is that we asked from the reception which terminal to go for our ferry, they guy said terminal B and it was terminal A! We almost missed our boat...
One night stay in this hotel at the 8th floor. Clean and fresh room with scandinavian taste with a view to the busy street. Nice and friendly atmosphere in the hotel. Great breakfast with lots of tasty alternatives to choose from. Hotel is in good location not far from the old town and shops.
Nordic hotell Forum i located in the center of Tallinn. It's about a 15 minutes drive/taxi transportation from the airport. The rooms are very nice and you also have training facilities and a swimming pool and a spa. There is also a nice restaurant and a bar. The breakfast is nice and bountiful. I recommend the hotell!
Best hotel in Tallinn. Very good localisation close to old town. Great service desk with fast support. Very nice breakfast in friendly and cosey environment. Wonderful pool area at top of building with plenty of space for relax.
This hotel is located in heart of the city and only hundred meters from old town gate. Also easy access from harbor if travel by boat from Finland or Sweden. Walking distance from harbor is less than 1 km. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff - highly recommended!
