High standard and very comfortable room and bathroom, silent at night, well-organized breakfast buffet, pleasant lobby, very-well placed at the entrance of the old city, close to airport, comercial area
Great services, the guys at the reception are very professional. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The swiming pool has a nice view. Its a great hotel for conferences and business meetings also close to the old city.
We arrived in Tallinn without our luggage which was lost by our airline. When we got to the hotel the front desk staff took note of our claim number and liased with the airport throughout our stay to check the status of our bags. When they still hadn't been found when we left, they offered to continue to check for us and hold them if they were found until we returned from St Petersburg a week later. They were found the next day and and were waiting for us when we returned to the hotel. We have never experienced such outstanding customer service anywhere else we've stayed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nordic Hotel Forum to anyone. The rooms were lovely, the hotel was clean and it was walking distance from the port, old town, bus stop and shopping centres. Can't wait to go back!
Nice, quiet and peaceful place. All what you need is around the hotel.Big, clean, soundproof and stylish rooms. Old city is about 1 minute from the hotel. Very nice and comfortable pool and sauna area. 24h GYM can help to plan the most comfortable training time.
Good location only a short walk to the old town. Many good restaurants nearby. The relax center in the upper floor is very nice. There are saunas, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Althought they are quite small of size so can easily get crowded.
Stayed for a wedding at the beginning of march, the hotel is only 10 mins from the airport and taxi's and ubers are readily available. It is also a 10 minute walk from the centre of the old town wich is idyllic. The rooms were comfy and well furnished and I liked the duvets on the bed rather than sheets which I find awkward. The bathroom was clean and well presented. Room service was very nice but the menu was a little limited. Breakfast was an absolute treat, huge range and all delicious. You had all the traditional Estonian food and the usual british cuisine if you are not so adventurous. Fermented fish anyone? The health suite/ spa area upstairs offers a jacuzzi, pool, and steam room which are mixed and a sauna which is split male and female. If you are not comfortable with nudity avoid the sauna. The only down fall for the area was the boiling hot gym making it impossible to work out properly (went for run round tallin instead). Also the area is open until 10pm and offers drinks which is great but it was packed with kids so if your thinking fun child free relaxing moment in the spa, think again. Staff were really helpful and friendly.
Clean and comfortable hotel room. Pool was nice and Finnish sauna as it should be. Steam sauna was out of order at that time which was a pity! Very polite service. Breakfast was great, and the hotel location good if you arrive by ferry. You can leave your luggage at the hotel if you arrive early or if your ferry leaves late in the evening (you don't have to carry you luggage all day long).
We stayed here for just one night in Tallinn before flying home the next day. We had spent 2 other nights in a remote hotel for a family wedding. The hotel is in a good spot and within walking distance to the old town so you can go and explore and have a look around. The hotel itself is modern and clean with decent size rooms with all the facilities you need. We did not use it but there is a spa area which looked very nice in the pictures. My only complaint would be that the thermostat in our room did not seem to work very well as when I wanted it to warm up it was still blowing out cold air. The bathroom also had a bit of a smell from it like drains which although was not terrible seemed not normal, however as we were only there one night I did not feel it was worth mentioning. Despite the above I would still recommend the hotel and feel it would be a very good base to stay for a long weekend or few days in Tallinn.
I am travelling in a group of 16 Australians. We have had a one day visit to Tallinn and stayed overnight in this hotel. The temp is supposed to be -4*, but it is bitterly cold. Colder than it felt at -18* further north. So this hotel was a welcome refuge after a walking tour ! Still so much influence from the Russian jack boot era. Many places there is still a bleakness and lack of colour, of livliness. Obviously, there is much being done to shake off the Soviet effect. This hotel is one example. On the key card is the following statement : " Dear Guest, It is our pleasure to welcome you to Nordic Hotel Forum. Thinking of everything, taking care of the smallest detail, being an invisible presence ready to fulfill your every wish, even those you have not yet had a chance to express - this is the Nordic Hotel Forum." General manager Feliks Magus then wishes us a pleasant stay. So that it such an ambitious goal, and I wasn't here long enough to give Feliks and staff a chance to prove themselves all round. We arrived with an overnight bag each, so can't comment on porterage, but there on the bench was tea and coffee making facilities. MEGA Brownie Points. We come in from the cold, and we can make tea and coffee ! Yay ! But there is never enough milk or creamer powder for a milky cup of coffee !!!!! Here the delightful young ladies behind the bar came to the rescue. A take-away cup full of milk, complete with lid, bless them. So all the staff that we had contact with were charming, helpful, beautifully groomed. Lovely bathroom. Good supply of attractive toiletries, bar fridge, TV, place for suitcase, armchair, comfortable bed, free wifi. We didn't have dinner here, but breakfast was comprehensive and elegant.
I stayed one night and I liked the location near the old town and the shopping center. Breakfast had wide selection of warm and cold food. The room was quiet fasing the back of the hotel. The bed was too soft for my taste. The temperature in the room was 23,5 which was a bit too high for sleeping and the panel wasn't working, so I wasn't able to lower the temperature. The sauna and pool were nice.
