People should really visit here The room was great and very comfortable Even the bathroom was clean My friend really appreciated her stay and so did i I will visit again for sure! Stackelberg hotel is a place to stay when you go to estonia!
The hotel was very nearly perfect. The room was beautiful and quiet despite being on a main(ish) road, the staff attentive, professional and pleasant, and the location was excellent - close to everything without being in the middle of it. Would not consider staying anywhere else in Tallinn. The only gripe is so very minor it is barely worth mentioning...the heavy blinds didn't cover the entire windows so some light always got in though being mid winter there was really not so much light to worry about!
My staying at von stacklberg hotel was not too bad, the hotel is situated not far from the old city, you can reach it by walking or by taxi paying about 5 euro, the girl at the reception was friendly and polite, unfortunately the room was really small and bathroom even smaller, not really what you expect from a 4 star hotel where you pay 120 euro a day
We visited this hotel with my husband for two nights at end of December. I found the hotel cheap, quite nice and rooms clean. Only thing that bothered me during our visit, was the awful smell of pipes in the bathroom and also little bit in the room. All the stuff we met (reception and cleaning lady) were very friendly and did their job nicely.Hotel was little bit away from the city for my opinion.
We stayed at same company hotel nearby, City Hotel Tallinn. Some people are complaining about breakfast because they are served in the hotel nearby, some people are complaining about noise.... What can I say - READ and order accordingly because we had a wonderful 2-night stay for great value over almost busiest time of the year - NYE. We booked in advance and got so called "garden-view" room (there is no garden, just a parking lot view) which was really quiet so the sleep was great! Beds are comfortable, room is small but cozy with everything you can wish for (of course depending on your needs). Breakfast was no trouble because we didn't ordered any :) so we have nothing to complain about. If you are planing to have it, then read that they are served in other building. We heard people complaining about it but somehow I knew this before because I have read the description online. And best part is LOCATION - it is literally 2 minutes away from Toompea Castle, in other words one of the main parts of old town sights, everything else is around the corner. THANKS
Very nice hotel. We stayed in the Zen room, it was big, nice bath. The massage we took in the spa was also very nice, did not visit the spa itself. Breakfast was with good selection and excellent bread. Recommended.
This was our second time in this hotel. This time we had a smaller room but the size was okay for two people not spending all their time inside. Service was excellent, breakfast great, location easy (about 10min walk to old town), and the room was clean. The only big minus comes from the location of the room. Our window was to a busy street. Cars were not that bad but waking up many times during the night to drunk people shouting in the streets was terrible. And unfortunately this repeated every night. So if you need your sleep, ask for a room with the window to the courtyard. We are definitely coming back someday but we'll do just that even if it costs a bit extra.
Small Room, not enough heating. Asked about heating, they provided a small capacity fan heater that dried all the air inside. A 2 person room where we didn't had enough space. Our luggage had to stay beside bed and occupied most of the room.
Great, this hotel located in best area, only pool's and sauna is a lillte expensive, when We went to go to shop or other places, we can walk to there, this hotel has very good staffs, there is completely breakfast
The hotel looked huge from the outside but the room we had was very small - that doesn’t really matter as obviously not much time is spent in the room. The towels were really small but they did provide robes for after showering. The bed was also very small with a mattress topper that didn’t fit properly which meant I was rolling off the side of the bed. There was no iron or ironing board in the room and no milk for my tea (only creamer in sachets). The location was really good - just a short walk to the old town (although up a very steep hill). There is no bar in the hotel which was a little disappointing but they did sell drinks at reception for you to have in the lounge or in your room. Staff were friendly and welcoming but this trip was for a 30th birthday and we’d said any special touches would have been appreciated but nothing was done for us. Good price though and for a city break it does provide a good base.
