We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay. Staff were so courteous and professional at all times. Staff seem to take personal pride in the enjoyment of guests experience. Àll staff were such good ambassadors for the hotel but also for their city. Food was of a very high standard.
Stayed recently for 4 nights at this extremely well run 4 star hotel located on the southern edge of the old town of Tallinn.Taxi from the airport is cheap- costs between 7 and 10 euros. Location is fantastic; a short walk from Town Hall Square, the centre of the old town.Facilities are excellent, food is good. However, the staff are the jewel in the crown. From the waiters to the housekeeping, the bar and reception, they were all polite and helpful (almost all spoke good english).I would like to give a special mention to the Front Office Manager (forget her name ) who went the extra mile on occasions to make our stay so pleasant. We had a front facing superior room overlooking a small square containing a fountain and found it quiet. It had a standalone shower and tea/coffee making facilities. There is one area where an improvement could be made.Although the comprehensive buffet breakfast was good, it would be better if one or two new items were provided each day to add a bit of variety to the spread. e.g. different pastries, grapefruit segments, different bread rolls. All in all, an excellent hotel and a place we would love to stay again.
My wife and I spent our last night in Estonia at My City Hotel in early October. My title says it all. The hotel is across from an all night nightclub and our room faced the square. In spite of seeing many people outside in the middle of the night, we found the sound minimal. We could hear people talking if we really tried, but didn't find the location an issue. The hotel has an excellent breakfast included in the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an error on our bill that we didn't notice and the hotel contacted us before we returned home to advise us of the error and their action to correct the mistake. Great hotel! Thanks
My wife and I recently stayed here and would highly recommend it. It was a lovely hotel, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable with some nice little touches. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also very good.
This hotel was in a great location. Could walk into old town in just a few minutes. Actually located just in edge of old town, so was good that taxis could access the hotel. Just a couple blocks the other way from hotel was a modern mall with restaurants and big supermarket too. Staff was friendly and accommodated us in our very late arrival and early departure. My husband has a small scooter and they gave us an accessible room. Room and basement restaurant were both accessible by elevator. But since this was an older building there were steps up from the sidewalk. 2 then 5 more steps. So just a word of warning for handicapped, every time you enter or leave, there are these steps. It wasn't a big deal for us, my husband could negotiate the stairs and they were quick to help with the scooter. Several other old town hotels in Krakow and in Lviv had at least one or 2 entry steps. These hotels are built into beautiful old buildings and I think it is unavoidable. Just a note, all these old town areas have a lot of cobblestones and uneven sidewalks, not really the best place for a scooter, wheelchair or crutches, but we did pretty good. Thank you My City!
The hotel is situated in the Old Town. It looks nice outside and the rooms are cosy and clean. The staff was very good. This was the second visit for both of us and I believe that we'll visit again in the future.
Conveniently situated three minutes walk from the very heart of the Old city. A medium size personal and appealing hotel with comfortable rooms. A highly well maintained establishment with an excellent restaurant and friendly and professional staff. Excellent value for money.
We were a group of six friends (three couples ) We found the hotel very clean. The rooms were excellent and the staff very friendly. The best is the location. Walking distance from all tourist sites. Will recommend this hotel to all my friends.
We stayed in the hotel two nights. It would be hard to imagine a friendlier, more helpful staff ... especially at the front desk. We did have a problem with light coming into the room the first night (they need wrap-around drapes that would block light from coming in at the sides of the drapes), so we were moved to a room on the courtyard, which had less light at night than the street. The front desk gladly did this and other things for us, and the feeling was that they really did care about guest comfort and were not simply going through the motions. We had the special three-course lunch in the hotel restaurant. The food, service and value were all excellent.
Decent hotel, rooms are not big and feel very cramped when you have to open your luggage. Bed is very good and wifi as well. I stayed on the ground floor and the insulation towards the hallway was very bed (very thin door I guess). I have woken up multiple times from people arriving middle in the night back. Location is very good, in the old town, no discussion that this is a good hotel for leisure and weekend tourists. If you stay longer with more bags, you might feel some inconveniences.
