We recently stayed for 4 nights over New Year. The location was perfect, right across from Freedom Square to see in the New Year and a few minutes walk to the old town. The breakfast and spa was good, the staff were excellent. One star less as we had originally booked an attic room, the first night we were all kept awake (2 rooms) by the roof banging. It was caused by wind but it was so loud. We spoke to reception about it the next morning and we did get moved but would not recommend a roof room. Also the rooms were really hot. We had to get fans to try and keep the room comfortable but they would get to 22 degrees over night- it was -10 outside. The fan made it ok but no way to turn heating off to keep the room a better temperature.

Fantastic hotel right on the edge of the old town. Beds are really comfy and the shower was the best! Literally a 3 min walk to the old town. Couldn’t ask for a better locational as also quiet - right opposite freedom square too

This property is just on the edge of the old town the location couldn't be better. The room was big and spacious and well adorned with the essentials to insure a more than comfortable stay and the room was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff is top notch from check-in to check out. The breakfest is quality dont pass it up.

Hotel was ideally situated to visit the old town being just off Freedom Square. A taxi from airport cost 15 Euros and took no more than 10 mins to hotel. Staff were friendly and very professional. Room (510) was tidy and well equipped. Reason for not giving excellent score was the noise level from the street, particularly from trams and other traffic, especially at night. Hotel has small swimming pool, sauna and steam room which is open from 10.00 in the morning to 10.00 at night. Overall a very good hotel which i would definitely recommend, but dont get a room opposite the Kawa Plaza.
