Stayed here for a local tournament. Found staff to be very friendly and accommodating. Excellent experience at front desk. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is new. Breakfast was nothing fancy but good variety for a quick bite and go. Little bit of a drive to anywhere but would definitely stay here again.
I must say from the time we walked in to the time we left we felt like we were at home! Everyone that we encountered were helpful and so very nice....thank you all for making my entire group (17 people) feel like they were at home!!!#
We stayed here on a family trip to Syracuse. We had a 2 bedroom suite and my teens loved it. The pool was very clean as were the rooms. Everything you needed was there. The only negative were the beds. The mattresses felt a little past their prime and the beds were squeaky. Staff was very accommodating.
We stayed here to visit the Destiny USA and the WonderWorks museum! We wanted to go to dinner -- 4 adults and 3 kids -- while standing in the lobby deciding who would be DD for us, the Manager at the front desk stepped in and offered us a ride to dinner and a pickup, using the hotel shuttle service, which was a brand-new 8-10 passenger Mercedes van. All completely free! Driver gave us a business card, provided a great dinner recommendation, and was very prompt with pickup when we called. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. While the room was clean, adequate, comfortable, etc (PLENTY of space too! Really love the room styles they offer)...I found the staff here went above and beyond and truly set this establishment apart from other hotels I've stayed in. For that reason alone, I'd very highly recommend.
I have been to the Holiday Inn several times and never knew there was a Staybridge Suites connected to it. What a comfortable setting for the six of us attending a conference there. Two bedrooms with a king and two doubles, a pull-out sofa, two baths, and a kitchen with more than a microwave and small dorm-like refrigerator welcomed us in very attractive surroundings. Another surprising feature were the weekend breakfast buffets. Many hotels serve basically the same thing every morning; not this one. On Saturday the main serving was scrambled eggs, sausage, and home fries. The following morning was an egg stuffed with cheese, bacon, and hash browns. There were many other choices of toasts, bagels, waffles, yogurts, fruits, etc. Never have I stayed anywhere that if you are in a hurry can pack yourself a bagged breakfast! The staff was friendly, accommodating, and certainly encouraged a welcoming stay!
So we stay here 3-4 times a year when visiting family. We've been in Elite to Espire status every time we've visited. Every time we've visited except this time the front desk associate has been great and helpful. Yesterday, the lady was kind of miserable. We asked about an upgrade ( elite and espire members get one free if available), and she stated she only had one room left before sell out. This is fine, but just the way she was we felt we were a bother when we're high end IHG members. We actually found out we did have an upgrade when we got to our room. Base rooms are studios and we had a one bedroom, so that was nice to walk into. Most other times we've come they've had 2 bedroom suites available and upgrade us to those. This is nice because then we can have family stay with us too. Breakfast was great this time. Your basic extended stay/inn complimentary breakfast. Sometimes breakfast can be miserable due to being packed with guests, and guests who don't clean up after their selves. They have oatmeal, fruit, 2 waffle makers, eggs ( this time omlets that were good, most times when we've gone they've had gross water eggs, but those times they were very busy) sausage, bread, pastries, and so on. They have a decent coffee bar, and bags to take fruit and pastries to go. This is a real nice hotel. Rooms and hotel are up to date. Also, if you own a Tesla they have a supercharging station out front. Nothing for other EVs though. Only other complaints are we had to dispose of 2 stink bugs in room, and they need new pillows. Our pillows were as flat as pancakes, which made for a rough sleep.
This is the first time I stayed at a staybridge. It is a pleasant hotel. Nice warm breakfast. Pool was vey nice, very warm. Nice big towels. Staff friendly. coffee available 24/7. Suites .a decent size for my family of 6.
I flew into Syracuse after a long day of flight cancellations to find that my luggage had not arrived, no rental cars were available, and I had to spend the night. I had cancelled my reservation the day before because of a schedule change, but I called Staybridge (#13 on the airport courtesy phone). They still had rooms, and Tom was able to reinstate my points-and-pay reservation and immediately sent their free shuttle. I received a free upgrade and friendly recommendations for dinner (too much ice to walk outside, but the connected Holiday Inn has a small restaurant plus the Staybridge lounge), and I enjoyed the lobby area fireplace. The staff at Staybridge (thank you, Tom!) salvaged my evening and provided a very comfortable stay, in spite of my missing luggage. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful, varied, and delicious. If you are flying into Syracuse, take advantage of the above and beyond service offered by Staybridge Suites. A warm welcome, a relaxing stay, and a helping hand await you.
This wonderful hotel got even better...the beds are more comfortable then ever and new pillows too. They are always keeping up on improvements which is so important to a guest. The General Manager, Michelle, is very engaging with guests and brings the staff to a high level with her positive energy. From the moment you check in and all along the way...the staff all make you feel like a VIP...Sabrina & Meghan at the front desk, Tabby in Maintenance to Katie & Joan in Housekeeping...Thank you!
We prefer top floor when possible to reduce overhead noise, unless it is a concrete structure. As we did not know, we selected the top floor, but, were right next to the elevator and we NEVER HEARD IT!!! Absolutely a FINE location and the variety of breakfast foods, plenty of hot foods and delicious. Impeccably clean. We have traveled for over 14 years now. This particular location not only surprised us and surpassed general expectations, but, has taken the No 1 position in all of our many many many stays! The heated indoor pool is a wonderful option and the workout room is well supplied, open, well lighted and clean! You must see their locations photos to understand how very nice this place AND their entire staff are. I would definitely prefer this hotel to the other high end ones next to them! We stayed in a 1 room suite with a full kitchen and it was fully supplied with cookware, dishes, glasses and coffee mugs. A full size refrigerator and even a garbage disposal!
