Novotel Sydney Parramatta

No where to hang towels, the room is set up for 4 people but there is one hook. Lighting in bathroom not very good either. Additional pillows not available. Great location though we will consider booking again

Room was large, bed was very comfortable and staff were very helpful and attentive. This is an older hotel and you can see signs of aging, particularly in style of carpets, etc. However it was clean with a recent update on the bathroom. There was a bath and separate small shower. The one real negative for the stay was the hopelessness of the air conditioning. The room remained uncomfortably warm regardless of what you did to the temperature control. At one stage I had it set to 5 degrees but it never dropped to less than about 25. There are lots of great eateries along church st so dining in the hotel was just a convenience. However, food was good with steaks done as requested finishing with a superb cheese platter. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with quite a varied spread. It is always a good sign when staff ask you if you would like a coffee as they ask for your room number. I would certainly stay here again, the hotel is very convenient to Parramatta CBD and railway station...I just hope they fix the air conditioning problem...don't stay on a particularly warm night.

Great place to stay as others have pointed out lighting and shower need some change but other then that friendly staff, will stay again next time in parramatta and central to a number of great places to get a meal

Stayed on the long weekend, very busy with lots of football fans staying. The hotel is in an excellent location, close to shops, restaurants, cafes. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff very attentive. Would definitely stay again.

This is the second time in a month that we have stayed at this hotel and it was great both times. The staff are lovely and friendly and the hotel is clean and tidy. We chose it this time because it was close to the NRL Grand Final venue, which made it easier than the CBD to get to and from the ground. The area is quiet and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Fantastic, close.. walk to railway, free bus close to great cafe, restaurants and entertainment. Good rooms. Onsite restaurant, bar and lobby. 24 hour desk service, free wifi which is a bit iffy but not a detraction

I have stayed at the Novotel Parramatta on several occasions and must say the service is first class and the location handy for both business or a short getaway. Big thank you to all the staff who are friendly, welcoming whilst maintaining a high professional standard. Given the age of the hotel the hotel rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Reasonable gym and pool on the second floor. A good selection of bars and restaurants are a short stroll from the hotel and the monolithic Waestfields is around a ten minute walk for those in need of some retail therapy. Looking forward to my next visit to the Novotel Parramatta..

Stayed here for over one week in August/September 2017. The room was functional and the Breakfast was very good. Staff were excellent. The room was pretty basic and the overall appearance was a bit tired. traffic noise was noticeable, especially the garbage trucks that operated in the middle of the night for the property next door. I believe the rate was comparable to other hotels in the CBD. Aircon took a while to figure out but was effective.

the reception is nice and makes you look like you are staying in a nice room. the rooms were average and the beds were tired and un comforatable. the wifi is weak and the shower had no pressure. i would recommend looking somewhere else. parking is 18 per night

Stayed here over the long weekend room was clean, bed comfy not that we could sleep in it because of the noisy aircon. The room was quiet stuffy so needed it on.It sounded like a lawnmower so I reported the problem to reception on Sunday morning and headed out for the day only to return late that evening and it was not repaired. So 2 nights no sleep not happy.Told the girl at reception who said I should of let them know.Well I did.Got free parking.Wow.My extended family stay in parramatta quite often but will be looking at other hotels in the future.
