We stayed for a total of 9 days. The room was spacious, newly renovated and kids friendly. The motel was in the midst of upgrading whilst we were there, but still very quiet. There was an excellent array of amenities in the room, more than what you would expect to find in a motel room. Well-made bed, sheets crisp and clean, fluffy clean towels and refreshements which were replaced and replenished daily. Secure parking accessed by pass only. The staff were friendly and helpful. Truly 5 star service. A variety of restaurants nearby, 2 mins away from train line and bus service in both direction and stops right outside. We'll definitely stay here again!

The room smelt of cigarette which was a none smoking room the plumbing was making a terrible noise could not sleep you could smell someone smoking marijuana that was coming through a hole in the wall from the apartment next door just a very poor experience would not recommend at all All for a grand total $200 never again avoid this place like the plague.

Stayed 9 nights and had to leave a note for the cleaner each day e.g. no coffee,no tea towel, no milk, clean the floor, etc.Something different each day. Also the shower needed replacing, heater needs replacing and holes in the curtain.Room was badly in need of an major renovation.Spare blancket was dirty and the room was cold.We did not expect 5 star but expected somethind better then 2 star.We have stayed there 4 years ago and we received what we paid for. This time, under different managemen, thing have gone downhill badly.7 out of 9 nights we were disturbed througout the night by very noisy neighbours.Sorry but I would not recommend this place again. However I must say that the staff,Charlie in particular, were very helpful.

Do not take any notice of photos this place posts of its rooms. They are nothing like that. Take a look at the photos I took with my own eyes. What a dilapidated, rusty, broken, shocking view, old, stale room, patched mix matched carpet. Had to ask for towels. When checking in an upgrade was mentioned ..... if this was an upgrade what on earth does a downgrade look like? The only reasonable things were parking, though tight, and a train station not too far away. Could have stayed in Darling Harbour for $25 more. Kicking myself big time. Should have refused such conditions. Will NEVER ever return.

Well run large motel situated on the busy Parramatta Road. Bus, in both directions, stops right outside and provides a fast trip into the Sydney CBD. The Light Rail station is two minutes away and takes you to the Tramsheds complex, fish market, casino, Darling Harbour etc. Clean, secure, safe parking and well maintained but in dire need of refurbishment which appears to be underway. Aircraft noise is a bit of a 6am issue. Still the good service and great location makes this worthy of consideration.

Excellent condition great location 10 min from the city staff were very helpful and polite with all of our enquirers the room was very comfortable and looked like it was just been renovated I will have no problem in returning to Marco Polo in our future travels to sydney

Was struggling to find any reasonable proved accommodation, chose this place and it was very run down and basic. Bathroom had a hole in the roof and the room had a musty smell. Roof was in desperate need of repairs. bunk bed was directly in front of the air conditioner.

We booked a room for 2 nights, so we could be near to both the Sydney CBD and the Royal Easter Show. The first room we were offered had a tap handle missing on the hand basin. The dirty and shabby furniture in the room one would expect to find on a local council kerbside collection day ready to be dumped. The second room they offered had the remains of a vandalised hair dryer unit with exposed electrical wires and the cheap vinyl covered 2 seater lounge appeared greasy and the room seemed to be suitable in 3rd world, rather than 3 Star. We were far from satisfied but as we had clean bedding and could not be refunded as per the booking site terms and conditions we had used, so we had to stay. Sadly we did not check the TripAdvisor reviews before we booked. We have travelled to many 3rd world destinations in Asia, Africa and South America but they were all better than this property.

We brokered a very good deal when two days out of town, intending to stay several days. Upon arriving one day early we met the senior gent in charge/owner. Once he established we had NOT paid with bank card, we were told, sorry all deal off. BUT as it is dark and we are in town first time ever, one room left! At premium price. Yes we took the bait! Also we then booked for several days stay, at way over offered rate, he saw us coming well and truly😜 The first room was so so, we were told people want Masserati for Kia price, then the another queen size room for next several days was offered. This room was clean, very basic, no chairs to sit on, but had what we needed, heater, good bed and linen, TV, microwave, jug, basic everything. Clean bathroom. Repeat, basic, no supplements in bathroom. Noise was acceptable thanks to empty room next to us. Washing machine and drier on ground level worked well for a few dollars. Two blocks from rail station and village, very good!!!! Secure parking first level, very tight parking, not for large cars. We would stay again now knowing what we should do and expect BUT making sure a deal was firm and honoured.

The room smelt of old mould, a piece of carpet was missing, the room was very tired. The noise from the road and aircraft was annoyingly loud. The basic furniture needed repair. We will not be staying again.
