The room was perfectly adequate for a short overnight stay before an airport departure, simple, no-frills, and ok value. It was quiet and comfortable enough for a decent night’s sleep. One thing to be aware of is that the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the domestic airport. This wasn’t clear when booking, and while the route is well signposted and manageable, it could be inconvenient if you’re travelling with multiple bags.

Terrible front desk staff were not helpful and displayed a nasty attitude when complained about the controlled heat in room. Room heaters are set and room was too warm so had to leave hotel room door open to get cool air. The two bath towels had stain on them and we had to get towels exchanged but took a while. Public toilet near front desk was dirty. Stain on sofa near breakfast area and breakfast area was dirty. We have stayed at other Ibis hotels and this one is by far the worse one. We do not recommend this Ibis budget Sydney Airport.

The rooms DO NOT look like the pictures. They are extremely worn and old. The television did not work in our room and quite honestly we were horrified by the price vs what we got. The walls were marked all over, carpets need replacing the bathroom was gross. We had hoped for breakfast but no one could tell us when breakfast was… we went down at 9.30 to told it was finished. There are a couple of hair dryers for the whole building which funnily enough we couldn’t access as they were being used by other people. We were honestly horrified by the price of the room vs what we actually got. Shame on your Ibis!!
