Loved our visit to Pullman Quay. I am a lifetime fan of Sydney Harbour and all the beauty it has to offer. The perfect place to take advantage of such pleasures is to stay at this luxurious hotel. Relaxing, comfortable and convenient to multiple tourist spots with spectacular views.

Great location, second to none. The Appartment style rooms are very well designed, they feel like a home away from home rather than the usual shoe box with no soul... The staff are also great - very friendly and attentive. However... The hotel INFRASTRUCTURE Is WELL OVERDUE for an update. The lift access malfunction four times while we were there - not great when you're trying to get back to the room with a sleepy toddler.

There are a couple of highlights staying at the Pullman Quay Grand, that are definitely worth a mention. We stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to experience Vivid Sydney. The location is excellent for this as it is right on the Quay and very easy access to the train station as well, which meant we could park our car at the airport and travel around by train. It was also really nice to be able to go to breakfast and not face the usual hotel buffet. A lovely menu choice was available and the dishes were excellent. Such a refreshing approach in a hotel and a special thank you to the excellent breakfasts staff. As far as the suites go, they are pleasant and certainly spacious, but fixtures in the room we had were very tired. Side tables were damaged, there are minimal pillows, and the mattress sloped down on hubby's side, which did not lead to particularly good sleep. We chose to face the botanic gardens as we prefer a quieter stay and views were nice and we could even see a little of the Opera House and the balcony would have been lovely in good weather. Check in was a delayed process as although we had completed our online check ankd being Accor members there were issues finding the booking. Minimal information at check in meant we had to call down for advice on internet, breakfast, Vivid dining options in house etc as there was no information provided in the room. Little things, like there being no complimentary bottled water provided are a bit of an irritant for a hotel of this callibre. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again on the basis of location and the breakfast.

We enjoyed great view from our room, The location was very good up few stairs and you are at the Art gallery, from there it is a short walk to all the best Sydney has to offer. The staff was very friendly they couldn't do more for us. Valet parking was so convenient. A bit of caution when we were driving there we couldn't find the correct address on the GPS. We did eventually get there but mostly by recognising the building.

We came with another couple to see Vivid and were looking for a harbour view with balcony to take advantage of the light show. The Pullman met our needs overlooking circular quay - right next to the Opera House and Botanic Gardens. For the money we paid <$500 per night - staying for 2 nights- we expected to get a hotel room with balcony. Instead we got an amazing apartment. Separate bedroom, large bathroom with a kitchen and living area that overlooked the Quay. And it was lovely! We had room 608 which the Concierge who showed us to our room noted was the largest on our floor and our friends had 607 - the only difference seemed to be that we had a laundry room whilst theirs was incorporated in the kitchen. We cannot wait to get back and stay for a week. Restaurants, ferries, easy walk to the CBD and QVB and amazing views. The Botanic Gardens were also wonderful for a walk after breakfast. Highly recommend. Staff lovely and amenities great.

The experience of staying at the Pullman Quay Grand is delicious! The feeling of opulence surrounds you and the amazement that unfolds from the time of arrival gives a 'new meaning' to five star...... We last visited in August 2012 to celebrate my husband's birthday this time a special anniversary and the welcome once again was warm and friendly.... like coming home. The excitement as we were escorted to our room was building and once the door opened and the beauty of the world outside was revealed.... our dream was realised. Sydney at it's very best...... The magnificent splendour of a harbor view room is worth every dollar! This view has to be added to the 'wonders of the world' and we were in 'Heaven' The cleanliness and standard of our apartment was fantastic .... and every day the room is serviced ... absolutely impeccable which is comforting as so often it is not. Selecting the right accommodation makes or breaks your holiday and the Pullman Quay Grand is definitely "Right" no disappointments ever! We would never stay anywhere else. At night Sydney Harbor and the surrounding buildings light up and is truly magical... this time we were blown away as 'Vivid' light show was playing and there was no need to battle the crowds... we had the enjoyment from our lounge chairs and bedroom .. mind blowing.. Transport at your door...... a enormous array of restaurants...or just eat in as we like to do! Thank you again to the staff who treat you like VIP's ... the customer service is faultless... and another bottle of complimentary bubbles .... The error that we won't make in future is to ensure that we come back much sooner. Truly love the Pullman Quay Grand ... I can honestly say it is the best we have stayed in.... Mary and David

Question I asked after staying at the Pullman Quay: Is why Have I never stayed here before? It has the best location in Sydney for being in centre of activities & access to transport; the suites are great, ambience and service of the hotel is good. Considering all of this, and even given the room price, I think it is value for money in comparison with other hotels in area

What a location... We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with Harbour views, completely worth the expense especially during Vivid. The apartment was a good size with laundry and kitchen if needed. We booked with breakfast included which was a nice start to the day as the food was good and staff friendly. The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating to our needs and concerns throughout the I registered for Accor rewards program and we received free wifi for 4 devices during our stay. My kids enjoyed access to the indoor pool. The convenience to ferries and trains as well as the city cannot be understated. Although some of the insides of the apartment needed to be refreshed, I still would give Pullman Quay a five given everything else about this hotel. Picture from balcony. Picture looking from street back to indoor pool.

This hotel is in a great location to explore the annual Vivid festival. Large, spacious rooms, and friendly helpful staff. Convenient location close to train station, with direct transfers from the airport. I'll be back!

Great, unrivalled location, with magical Sydney Harbour and Sydney Harbour Bridge views, awesome staff, delicious food, walking distance to trains, the Opera House and The Rocks. We keep coming back! So should you!
