Front desk and cleaning staff were friendly. Had a nice showerhead, which I like, and which isn't always the case. Went down for the included breakfast at 9:35 a.m. and learned that it closes at 9:30 and I missed it. Wish they would have told me the hours when I checked in the previous night. Swimming pool was closed for the winter I suppose, although it wasn't marked that way. Water wasn't being filtered and leaves were in the pool. But the room and bathroom were comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. Would stay there again.

we stay one night . it is like perigean . non smoking area people smoking .

Its nice and quiet. Every time we travel to northern california we stop to clarion.

We love to stay at this place, we like almost everything Pool, breakfast and service. we really recommended thank you

I don't know what to say, that was one of my four worst night's in a hotel. The noise was so bad my girls were scared for their lives and we got no rest. This location needs to have a warning alert notifying travelers of dangerous conditions. The partying was way too loud and the drag bikes didn't help matters any more. I'm changing my views on what hotel I'll put my trust into. This one just lost my business...

When im visitting my family in Stockton, this is my favorite.

My son and I needed a place to stay on our way to southern California. Staff was nice. Old TV with only a few channels. Bathroom looked like it had been redone recently but not the rest of the room. Was not a particularly quiet place due to traffic noise.

Nice place. Was there for softball tourney. Rooms were big and nice and a great breakfast. would stay again. Front desk very nice people

I booked a room at this establishment based on the reviews I read on this site. Everything looked good in the pictures until I arrived on site and thought to myself that I had made a mistake. The exterior looks okay, but I didn't realize that Highway 99 was literally its back yard (lots of highway noise in the room). I had to wait several minutes to check in along with several other people because there was no one at the help desk. The lady that helped seemed nice and tried her best to provide the best customer service possible. The room looked like something from the 70's or something, this place needs to remodel and get something a bit more modern. Also, the television screen was old, they need to upgrade to HD television sets. One annoying thing was that there were kids running around in the hallway during the early evening and there were people constantly moving about during the late night. There was a group of people that started banging on my neighbor's door at 2am in the morning which woke me up. This place was a bargain but ghetto. At check out, the same lady helped me but she seemed very inconsiderate. I'm not sure what happened. If you are staying here, do not eat at the Denny's across the street. There service sucks and they charged double the bill on my credit card and then charged it again. I ended up paying $90 for a $30 meal. I hope my refund comes through. Will I stay here again? Probably not.

Nice Hotel- good nights sleep. Nice Hotel- good nights sleep.

Hotel was run down. Hardly anyone was there the night I stayed. Hotel advertised that they had a lot of amenities that they didn't have. There were no vending machines, just ice machines. Pictures don't represent what the place is really like.

We didn't expect the rooms to be so spacious, which was a nice surprise. That, coupled with an actual non "continental" free breakfast, made it a good experience.

Quiet and very comfortable bed

We needed a stop between two graduations...Thurs evening in Sutter Creek and Fri. morning in Hollister. This was ideal, the room was spacious and quiet. We were able to rest well and it was so convenient between the two that it helped us not feel so rushed.

even a small continental breakfast makes this hotel a very good stay, the fact that they already have a restaurant on premises should make it easier to get the breakfast done

Great access to the fwy and large well lite parking lot. it was like home away from home!

My daughter travel softball team had a tourney, hotel was located in a perfect place , pretty central to all field and very nice.

I will not use Ortiz again. You booked me into a smoking room when you told me it was a non-smoking room, they told me that at check in. You also told me the Hotel was on the same road as Stockton Arena, IT WAS NOT. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

My husband had me make reservations and I didn't know that Stockton was a bad area. But when we got there the hotel was located right off the freeway and we didn't even see any part of a bad city. I was afraid after seeing where the hotel was located we would hear lots of noise, but it was so quiet. Our room, 1 Queen bed non-smoking, was very clean and spacious. There was lots of room to park and the parking lot was well lit. We would stay again if we were in area again.

This hotel is a 2 star trying not-so-diligently to perform above its star rating. I've stayed in absolute dumps before and this, fortunately, is not an absolute dump. However, all the "amenities" like the fridge, microwave, free internet and on-site restaurant do not elevate this place too far above dump status. The fridge didn't work. The internet was bafflingly spotty and would drop out for no apparent reason and be out for hours at a time. At the on-site restaurant, I asked for "light" dressing and the waitress honestly did not know what I meant by "light." So, I passed on that and just asked for vinegar and oil on the side and there was a bug floating in the vinegar! Also, the television was staticky and overall had a subpar channel selection. On the upside, the bathroom had had a recent remodel and was nice. The room was large and spacious and the bed was comfy. The meeting room I was in was also spacious and perfectly fine for business use. All in all, it wasn't absolutely terrible (I've seen MUCH worse in this price range) but it wasn't great by any means.
