Best Western Hotel Karlaplan

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

1. Very small room with no closet or drawers. That's not acceptable for a purported 4 star facility. 2. There small room was not efficiently laid out. There bathroom itself was large, but the room was tight. 3. There is no way to control the room temperature. At night, my room got chilly. 4. Great and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast bar.

We loved every bit of our stay, except the size of our room. Definitely adequate for sleeping, but tricky to find good space for suitcases and "stuff". Would most certainly recommend for anyone looking for a central location and superb breakfast!

This hotel was really nice. The bed was so comfortable! The room was very clean. The bathroom was quite nice as well. The breakfast in the morning had both hot and cold options, and was very filling. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating.

The hotel was a 3 minute walk from the metro station, but in a regular neighborhood and only 3 stops (and 5-7 minutes) from downtown, Old Town and the other popular tourist places. There was also a shopping mall, great restaurants and a fresh fruit stand right by the hotel. So, location A+! We also loved, LOVED the included buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, crepes, breads, cheeses and 4 different fish and meats. There was also cereal and yoghurt, etc. A real Swedish smorgasbord! The rooms were typical and very comfortable, clean and had all the necessary amenities. The bathrooms were modern and clean. I would highly recommend staying here ... with or without kids.

Hotel location great. Evening snack buffet a nice treat. Staff very helpful, and got us the best price to the airport.

The room was really small, but not bad for 1-2 people. I had difficulty with the internet which I really needed because I am a college student. The staff was really nice and did help whenever I had a problem with the internet, but it still was a little frustrating. The breakfast and small dinner was very convenient, although small yet cute.

the hotel is ok but be careful they might give you the single rooms that are very small.

Now I know what it feels like to live in a shoebox

My dad and I visited a relative in Stockholm, and needed a place to stay in Ostermalm. We hoped to find a place affordable and close to city center and stores. We were very happy with our accommodations, and the free breakfast AND dinners were a bonus! A shopping mall and grocery store was nearby too. The staff was friendly, room was clean and TV decent. Eric was SO helpful and professional...he deserves a raise! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a moderate priced hotel.

This Hotel should be stricken from the chain. Super small bed, reading lamp bulb was broken. Was promised me BW Points and even called the Hotel. Hotel couldn't give me points or even a receipt for me stay. Can't recommend this one.
