Dining

Before and after shopping, nothing hits the spot for guests staying in Stockholm like a mug from Wayne's Coffee, whose Skeppsholmen location provides a stellar view of key sites. The Kungshallen is a 15-restaurant fast-food trip around the world with correlating nearby movies.

Major Point of Interest

The Vasa Museum intrigues historians staying at Stockholm hotels. The primary exhibit is a 17th century wooden ship accented by numerous intricately hand-carved details, including ecstatic human figures.

Scandic Continental

Nice hotel. Close to most tourist sites.

My family rented 3 rooms for a family vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful in directing us to tours, sites, etc. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was really well done. Lots of choices. The location was close to most visitor sites. I would recommend the hotel to others.

Downtown Camper by Scandic

Fantastic location, Amazing breakfast, Great price

The whole place kind of smells like a camp fire. Which I think is awesome, but some people might dislike. It's clean and comfortable and nice and friendly. The breakfast buffet is awesome. On Saturday and Sunday they serve breakfast in shifts, and if you check into the hotel too late on Friday and the middle breakfast shift (8:45-10:15) is fully booked, you have to choose between the early shift (7:00-8:30) or the late shift (10:30-12:00). At first I complained about being stuck with the early breakfast slot, but then I realized this got us up and going earlier on Saturday and we got out exploring the city before 10am, which never would have happened otherwise.

Nice hotel/hostel in an actual authentic boat.

Nice place to stay overnight. Very authentic place and cabin. A bit hard bunk bed though.
