Food and Staff were fantastic! Resort was on a large piece of property, finding a quiet spot was easy to do.

We stayed with our 2 boys - aged 10 and 12. The resort is great for families and accommodates the needs of both children and adults. We all enjoyed the water park and took advantage of the paddle boards and kayaks offered on the resort. We had the best time and the staff was very friendly and always helpful. I would recommend to anyone looking to travel with young to tween children.

The hotel was really nice. The rooms are close to the beach, and the all adult building was great. Top shelf liquor all week long. St. Lucia is a beautiful island.

My family stayed at the resort March 11-18, 2017. Overall the vacation was good. The island is beautiful, the excursions were amazing and we made some new friends. As for the accommodations, it was average or below average. The rooms were very much out-dated. There was only one visible plug-in and it was not in the bathroom. We found another one but had to pull out the refrigerator and unplug the coffee pot. The room was quite small for the family of four; we were told all rooms are the same size, even though families are welcome. The walls are also "paper thin." Every morning (for seven straight days) we were woken up at 7:00 am by a screaming baby in the room next door. Most days the baby cried for at least 20 minutes. Overall, the food was average. The food was better in the restaurants (if you could get a reservation). We never had a chance to eat at the Italian restaurant the entire week because it was full every night. This was quite disappointing. The woman at the "food reservation desk" was rude and not helpful. As for alcohol, again very average...very little top shelf alcohol to choose from. The bartenders did not have knowledge of common drinks; you had to tell them every time exactly how to make it. The customer service was disappointing; we rarely were approached pool side if we wanted a drink. Occasionally someone would stop and ask, but for the most part, we had to go get our own drinks. The employees are nice, but not overly nice.

Loved the hotel and Island. A huge plus that hotel is right around the corner from the airport, especially after a long day of travel. But no real noise from airport. The pools and water slides and lazy river are great for kids and grownups. Great view from our room on the 3rd floor and some of the best food I have ever had at all inclusive. Calabash restaurant was amazing and ate there several times. Chard is an amazing waiter that went above and beyond. Kerdy at the amazing beach bar deserves a raise for putting up with blowing sand yet still so pleasant all the time.

I wanted to love this hotel, especially at approx. $650 per night. Close to airport (2 minutes away) and free shuttle were both pluses. Staff was either friendly and engaging (i.e. Big Ted at main bar, and Ernest (our waiter at several different restaurants) or would outright walk by you and ignore you in the buffet restaurant (i.e. like never coming over to ask if anyone wanted a cup of coffee in the morning). Food was very good and plentiful for the most part. Big misses for this hotel were the quality and size of the room. Walls were paper thin and shower and bathroom were minuscule (also strange that ceiling of bathroom was made of plastic). Also stranger that while in the bathroom you could hear the "he-hawing of the hotel's petting zoo donkeys. Hotel room (bathroom included and hotel for the most part) looks like they have not been remodeled in over 20 years atleast, and could use some strong cleaning. Sitting by the pool/beach for 8 days and I can count on my left thumb how many times my group was approached to ask if we would like a drink despite the 85 degrees daily temps from 2/16 to 2/23. Most of the time you play your own server by the pool which is very frustrating and something I have not encountered in the many all-inclusive higher end resorts I have traveled to in Mexico and the Carribean. Not great on activities for kids by the pool (other than water slides which was a cool distraction from the heat).

The resort was awesome, the staff was very friendly. We had a party of 10 adults, and all of us enjoyed our 9 day stay. We would highly recommend this resort. We enjoyed the land and sea tour and zip lining in Dennery. St .Lucia is very lush and TROPICAL. Carl the manager was very helpful and proud of the resort and his team. I give this resort a 5 star!!!

My family and I vacationed at Coconut Bay in January 2017. We had our wedding there and cannot say enough great things about the resort and the staff. First, the staff was excellent. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and had a smile on their faces - you can tell they enjoy what they do! Second, the property is very clean and well-maintained. The rooms are clean and modern as well. Third, the food was probably our favorite part of the trip. We dined at each restaurant and had breakfast and lunch in the buffet each day. Omelet bar, pasta bar, smoothie bar, etc. The food was fresh and well-prepared. My husband and I stayed on the Harmony side of the resort, while my in-laws stayed on the Splash side with my 5 year old daughter. The Harmony side was so relaxing and quiet! We did spend quite a bit of time at the Splash pools as well and at the water slides. One of the nice things about the resort is that it was full; however, you never had to wait in line at any of the bars or restaurants. It was a wonderful vacation and next time we go back to Saint Lucia we will definitely stay at Coconut Bay!

My cousin and I decided to do a quick relaxing getaway for MLK weekend and it was worth it! The pros: Literally a 2 min drive to the airport Room was well kept Resort itself was beautiful Multiple pools to choose from There is an adult side only part to the resort The spa was AMAZING The bartenders are on ponit! Multiple excursions to choose from The cons: It is in the south and the real night life is up north which is an 1.5 hour drive and the resort was charging $100US round trip per person to go There was not enough lighting in the room when getting ready to go out at night The bathroom was a bit outdated with a small shower Its more of an older crowd If you're looking to just relax with a drink in your hand this is your place. If you're looking for more of a party scene then you are better off staying up north

The resort was nice and clean but needed updating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the beach was covered in turtle grass so it wasn't good for swimming.

Our stay (September 2016)was pleasant overall. Pros: 1. Lots of activities for toddlers. Good babysitting services from 7am to 5pm. (Outside of these times, the charge is USD 50. Per child per hour.) 2. Nice variety of good tasting food with special options in the main restaurant for kids at blast, lunch and dinner. 3. Very well maintained and clean surroundings. Cons: 1. Don't waste your money on spa massages. I'm sure my masseuse had no idea what she was doing...my "firm" Swedish massage felt like a 5 yr old was rubbing my body. I asked for more pressure to be applied during the massage to no response - afterwards however, I was told that more pressure would have put the massage into another category - deep tissue - which would cost more, and that if I wanted one I would have to make another booking! My husband had a Swedish on the same day and was not impressed either. 2. Front desk staff are not what you would expect from anow all-inclusive hotel. Vernita was particularly unpleasant and unhelpful - some customer service training would benefit her greatly. Aaron seemed bothered to have to even talk to customers as well. Apart from these two, the rest of the staff, restaurant, bar and grounds, were always very cordial and pleasant. 3. The hotel is on the Atlantic side of the island so the beaches aren't very nice. The beaches on the opposite side (near Rodney bay) are pristine Carribean sea waters - definitely worth the 1hr trip from the hotel.

The hotel is outdated. Bathroom is horrible. Just a shower stall. Not a 4 star hotel by any means. Also the beach is rough. Stay on the Carribean side. Avoid this side (the Atlantic side). Food is good. Not the best. The staff is incredibly friendly but I've stayed at many resorts and will say this was my least favorite. Luckily people are extremely nice and live music every night was beautiful and entertaining.

My cousin was married at Coconut Bay and our family gathered for the special week. Our flight was delayed causing us to miss the connecting flight and we missed our first day. The airlines we used only flies out once a day and we were able to extend our return flight an extra day. Our schedule was booked and I had problems contacting the travel agent to reschedule our reservation and the resort went above and beyond by taking charge and contacting the agency directly. The turn down service was immaculate and the bed was decorated with towels folded in different shapes & flower petals. The maid also wrote encouraging notes with her signature daily, so I knew who cleaned our room. The food was delicious and not what you would expect to see in an American buffet. Omelets, French toast, pancakes, waffles, smoothies all made fresh to order right in front of you. I had the buffet dinner on our last night there and I was impressed. You also have a choice to make reservations at the restaurants for dinner, which we tried each one and they were amazing! The staff is extremely nice and made sure to greet you as you passed by. The grounds and pools are clean and well groomed. There are so many activities that you never get bored. I was expecting to get a huge bill at the end of our stay and was pleasantly surprised. We cannot wait to go back.

Arrival: We were welcomed with rum punch and a cold towel. It was a 5 minute drive from the airport, which was nice after the long flight. Since we had purchased the concierge room, Maxwell took us aside and gave us a schedule of our dinners and made our arrangements so we did not have to!! Room: The room was nice and was stocked with beer and juices. We were usually down at the bars, but it was nice to have options for the middle of the night. Our cleaning lady was Shirley and she was fantastic! She made note of what we used and gave us more of those items. She made different towel animals that always made us smile. It was nice to have such time taken on our room. It was even swept daily!! Food: All of the restaurants were amazing. I was very pleased with the food. I think our favorite was Calabash, thanks to Gina & Renessa. Silk was and Capri were also great! The appetizers were my favorite at each place! I was disappointed with all of the events that they put on. The food was subpar compared to the restaurant. We really wished we hadn’t gone to any of them and went to Calabash instead! We were really excited about the seafood night at the buffet and were not happy. There wasn’t a large selection of seafood and was overall not worth our time. I really like the snack place’s chicken sandwich! And I was taking the fries and making chili cheese fries! The breakfast buffet is the same every day. If you are aware of that, don’t try everything on the first day. Have waffles one day, omelet the next, etc. I didn’t see the eggs benedicts until the last day. They do have an upstairs restaurant where they serve you food. It is relaxing, but has pretty much the same stuff! Bars: The upstairs bar was the nicest one and Dona could make fancier drinks! We didn’t care much for the lobby bar, it was always busy and we didn’t get great drinks from there. The adult pool bar was the best. Dillan was the friendliest bar tender. If we didn’t want to drink we actually had the hide from him!! If you don’t want to sit at the bar, there is poolside drink service. We were on the adult side and Asia was great! I will say, that you are likely to wait awhile, so if you want drinks frequently, you might want to say so, Misc: They have vendors put up shop 2 days a week. They were the same thing you find on the island, so no need to really go out. We didn’t find too many authentic items to buy… However, there is a guy who carves coconuts on the beach. He will do requests and it fun seeing him work away. We made sure to get one to take home. Want a better beach? Walk to the right for awhile and when the beach curves, there are really nice soft beaches. You can actually hike up the Island you can see from the hotel beach. It is called Maria Island and was worth it! The chocolate on Friday night was all of the same goodies they have at the buffet. They have a fountain, which was alright. They also had chocolate liquor, I didn’t try it. There was karaoke, which was fun. But I should have stayed at the bar by the pool! There is not a whole lot to do around the resort. So if you are interested in exploring, you should pick a place closer to the other side of the Island. This place is perfect if you want to relax on the resort and do 1 or 2 excursions.

Loved this hotel. Staff was always accommodating. We loved Dillian at the pool bar

Hotel was very close to airport and not noisy at all. The staff was the friendliest we have ever had at any resort and went out of their way to make our vacation the best it could be. The food was very good at all restaurants with something new every day. We would definitely stay at Coconut Bay Resort again!!

Everywhere you look there was nothing but beauty. Quiet, soft breeze, exceptional service. Food was amazing and served with a smile. The room was cozy and clean.

Went to Coconut Bay Resort and Spa for our honeymoon. Absolutely loved St. Lucia. Coconut Bay Resort is only 5 minutes from the airport and you immediately get met with rum punch and the great staff. The restaurants were all very good. Calabash (the Caribbean restaurant) proved to be our favorite. The resort itself is beautiful. Lots of excursion options. We went zip lining near the Pitons and had a couples message at the spa which was unbelievable. Can't say enough about the staff. Dillan was the best bartender by far. His personality and enthusiasm made the Adults Pool Bar our go to spot. Also loved Tasha who my wife adored. The only negatives for us was that we had to pay to have WiFi in our room and there was a lot of seaweed on the beaches. Overall though it was an awesome experience and we hope to return some day.

This was our first time visiting St. Lucia and our stay at Coconut Bay was better than perfect. The location is within 5 minutes to the airport and you can hop the complementary shuttle to the resort. Upon arrival your bags are taken and you are given the best rum punch you will ever taste! Maxwell is at guest services and I highly recommend chatting with him and making sure your stay is everything you want it to be. Bring sunscreen and bug spray! The resort is very vegetative and has many bushes and lush greenery. Just pack some bug spray and hydrocortisone (they have zero on the aisle) and you will be fine. We started every day on the lazy river with a drink in hand :) The manager of the bars Big Ted will make sure you always have a drink in your hand and that you truly enjoy your stay. The room accommodations were comfortable and we always had a fully stocked fridge and plenty of towels. The staff was always asking if we needed anything and went above and beyond to make us enjoy our stay. I highly recommend the Exotica Soufriere and the Zip Lining excursions. They were amazing and FUN!!! There are a couple of stray cats on the property which was fine with me as I missed my own feline back home :) Make sure you look over the Weekly Breeze and check out the nightly entertainment. Also, the Kai Maier Spa was the best! I have nothing negative to say about this resort other than I wish I could have stayed longer! *Keep in mind they are renovating on the Splash side*. It did not bother us though.
