Holiday Inn Express St. Louis Airport - Riverport

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Great location, easy access from I-70. Catch the shuttle to the airport. OK for what we used it for except the comfort of the bed was not good. I stayed in this same hotel a couple weeks earlier. The queen size beds were got great but the king size bed was horrible. It was sunken in the middle. If you stay here, stay away from the king size beds.

The motel was hidden and there were no signs to direct us there. The PM staff at the desk acted very indifferently toward us. In the future, we will select a motel other than Holiday Inn Express, given the choice.

From check in to check out the staff was very friendly. They had a nice pool, the room was clean, and the shuttle was very prompt. The only negatives were, it needed a slight upgrade to the elevators and the beds were a little too firm. I will be staying next year.

The hotel is in walking distance to the amphitheater. Probly about 10 min walk. They have a shuttle to take you back and forth but may have to wait a while after the concert. The hotel staff was amazing and friendly. They went out of there way for any of requests. When I come back to at louis for another concert this is the first place I will look

Needed a 1 night stay close to the airport and this fit the bill. They were fast to process us into the room and make sure we got on our way quickly in the morning.

Clean, nice breakfast area. For travel sports teams or large groups, the breakfast area is very large and nice. Location is great with regard to access to Bridgeton, Hazelwood and the airport. Cost is average. Breakfast typical for HI-Express.

Near to the airport if you are traveling. Offers shuttle service. Pet friendly. I used may stay as a bridge between St. Charles and St. Louis.

The hotel over all was nice it was just a but out of the way and not any cheaper then the other hotels closer to the airport.

We attended a concert at a venue that is an hour away from home. Staying here allowed us to avoid the traffic before & after concert. We were also provided with a shuttle to and from the venue. Continental breakfast was good.

Good experience. I would stay at this motel if I were in the area again.

The staff was extremely nice upon check in and out. The lobby was nice looking. When we got to our room, we found it very small and in need of some TLC. The carpet in the closet was not attached, the tv needed to be reset. The bathroom looked like a two star hotel, mold and all in the shower. The walls were scuffed up in the room and all over the hotel. The free wi fi was nice. The free breakfast was good. There was a light out in the breakfast area that just confirmed that this hotel could use a good handy man and cleaning crew to get it looking better. I felt we paid too much for the condition the hotel was in.

The staff each evening were very friendly and helped us with several items that we needed.

Typical Holiday Inn Express. Building was a little bit old and it showed, but overall clean and tidy. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was standard. Would stay again - 5 or 6 minutes from airport, and easy on/off to I-70.

Great staff...very accomodating. my check in was suppose to be at 3pm but I checked in at 12:30pm. The room was super clean and big. very comfortable. The continental breakfast was supergood. Should be considered a 4 star hotel...#justsaying. I enjoyed every bit of my stay.

Overall, it was an average experience. The rooms were really clean, and we purposely stayed there for the cleanliness as well as the breakfast accomodations. The breakfast layout was fair, nothing like the Embassy Suite's though. The major negative was the location. We were in town for a concert inside the city, and with traffic, it was quite a commute into downtown. According to the map, it was only supposed to be 20 min., but I just didn't take into account how much traffic there would be. One last strange thing: there was no fan/vent in the bathroom...

I was only in St Louis for one day and the way I was treated by everyone at the Holiday Inn made me think that this was a pretty friendly and helpful city.

During a stressful time, the accomodations and the staff were comfortable, and friendly giving rise to rest and restoration.

I went to a women's convention. I ate out a few times. This trip was one of the best trips i have been on. I am thinking about a family reunion to this area as a result of this vacation. Everything about the trip was exceptional.

it was good. the carpet had some pretty wet spots, so i am hoping it had been cleaned recently...the hotel shuttle was great it took us over to riverport which saved us a 20 min walk.

We went here on our anniversary had a good time.Little did we know that there were casinos, That was a good find. The hot breakfast each morning was great, some time scrambled eggs and bacon, other times cheese omlets and sausage. There was a church group that stayed the same time we did and for some reason they could not shut the doors they had to SLAM the frickin doors most of the night and most mornings. The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. We would stay again as long as the church group isnt there.
