Working here for a Hospital, I’m reminded of why I’m a regular Hilton girl for most of my 250 nights per year away from home. For four nights at $500, I also get, a bed with one side that swoops down like a hammock, ants by the desk and bathroom sink, and flying stink bugs (or are they kissing bugs) I’ve had to repeatedly kill. Then as a bonus, I get to awaken to smoke in the morning coming in from my heater, as I’m over the entrance where people smoke, oh and all with trash in the elevator, no water bottles for Gold members, and no one ever at the front desk. The only positive is the room smells clean and the pillows are comfortable. Hilton Hampton, I’m coming back to you next week!
Excellent. Room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly at each step of the stay process. The only slight inconvenience was that one of the light switches controlled both the hall and desk lamps. Other than that, my stay was great. The breakfast was very fresh here a well.
I checked in here and the front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The cleaning staff was very thorough, and the rooms up to date and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and consisted of many options. The amenities at the hotel were very accommodating. They have a heated pool and hot tub. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel
Great location. Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Penn Station, Applebees and more are within walking distance. Nice pool and hot tub. Decent breakfast with sweet cakes. Personable staff in a nice location. Will definitely be back if in town and we will look for more Fairfield Inns in the future
Conveniently located across the highway, and surrounded by variety of restaurants, we can walk to Starbucks, Target and McDonalds. We enjoyed my husbands business trip to Springfield, and the Fairfield staff , especially Breakfadt attendant and housekeeping made us feel at home. Rich and hot breakfast and also welcoming staff whenever we step in or out. Good value as we both got free breakfast and free WIFI. We recommended the Fairfield Inn to our business partners and they also loved it. Especially the indoor pool. As Marriott Rewards member, we took advantage of the points promotion. This was unexpected to earn more points when you get the room cleaned every second day, not bad To go green and make more points- Thank you Fairfield Inn team.
Had confirmed rates in email from Marriott. Was not advised of rates at check in. Was surprised when I received bill and found rates did not match reservation. Showed confirmation email to clerk who said credit card had already been charged and the manager would change and send new bill. Stillwaiting after three days.
Good location for highway travels and to walk for shopping & restaurants. At breakfast we met a couple originally from area and got tips for sightseeing. Once you figure out north, south, east & west, Springfield is an easy city to navigate (Without GPS).
King studio room was perfect for our needs, even came with 2 TVs. Erma Davis, the breakfast manager, was very friendly. She kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked! Erma offered a nice greeting upon arrival and again when we left to start our day.
Friendly staff and clean, but rooms were a tad damp and musty. Also, the management of this hotel has decided not to serve cookies. Left too early to try breakfast. Good WiFi and comfortable bed. Conveniently located near restaurants and shopping in a prosperous part of town. Close to the interstate on the west side of town. All in all, a good value for the money and would stay there again.
Staff was great, mostly the housekeeping staff. That was all I meet. And the breakfast lady. Wonderful. What the place has a going for it is location, safety, easy access from the highway. I like the shopping/strip mall location. Great to get products from stores I know and trust. Inside, the place is functional. Clean, safe, but far from exciting. All I wanted to do there was sleep and shower. As a business traveler, it would be fine. I was there on vacation of sorts. Not romantic in any form. The hallways need light and color. The rooms need some updating. It is not a place I want to spend my free time. It does question my wanting to stay at a Fairfield property in the future. I'm pretty generous in my reviews, I would not want to stay at this Fairfield again. The are better options for just a little more in Springfield.
