Clean good neighborhood, nice staff

Definitely not quiet because there were a group of talkers outside my window, but I didn’t complain so there was no way the staff would know!
Our room was clean and comfortable. There was a couch/foldout bed that we only used for sitting. But that was so much nicer than just having a desk chair or the bed to sit and watch TV. The breakfast selction could have been better, but I realize we are still dealing with COVID responses, so I will cut them some slack. We were on 3rd floor, but they have an elevator so not so bad. All things considered, we will likely look for Microtel again when we travel.
Fast check-in, friendly staff, well lit parking, close to eating options. Pull out sofa in our room had not been cleaned properly. There was trash in it & dirty sheets on it. The front desk immediately came & took care of it when notified.
there is a bad odor in the walkway, and the facilities in the bathroom need to maintenance. The breakfast actually is a nothingness
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I arrived early and they accommodated me with a smile.

It was nice for the price we paid, everything was decent, only issue was the bathroom fan didn’t work and the walls are kinda thin but still wasn’t bad.

Location and the property were great. Parking lot light very well at night. The only issue I had with the stay was we were told breakfast was from 6-10. My son went down at 9:30 and was told breakfast was over. I had to go down there and talk to the lady who was putting away the food. I was told she has to shut down at 9:30 or she'll get in trouble. I was confused. Ten o'clock is ten o'clock. They should let people know that at check-in.
torn blankets, dirty sheets, dirty rooms, NO pool towels, rude staff on night shift.
Room is clean, nicely appointed with plenty of storage for emptying my bags.
Nice desk area in the room; I came to Springfield to do work and I had a large amount of space to complete that work.
Nice quiet place to stay that is fairly close to downtown. We stayed there after we went to a play at Hoogland arts center. It was only 5 min. away.
I have everything great to say about this place. Good price , location, and quality. The heating needs updated
Tiny heated pool. Good breakfast included. Thin walls between rooms are a drag.
1st room, both beds had dirty sheets and pillow cases. They moved us to another room, one bed was okay, the other had hairs and either lipstick or blood on the linens , Called the front desk again, told them one of the beds was dirty, They sent what I guess what was a maintenance man who handed us linens through the door and we had to make the bed ourselves, There was no microwave or fridge in the 2nd room, we had a baby with us and had no way to refrigerate or warm her bottles, I checked out the next morning. It took several calls to get the manager to call me back. I am waiting for confirmation that I am getting a refund for the 2 days that were left on my reservation. I was told that the refund would be processed through Orbitz. I ended up having to pay for two nights at another hotel until my return home.
Hallways on 2nd floor dirty and had construction items in it walls are all scraped up. My bathroom tile was not finished carpet was pulled away from wall and the wall where you put the bathroom light on was filthy. To top it off the cleaning service left my door ajar! I stayed the first night had an Asma attach( due to dust) and went to ER check out the next day. On ck out the lady said I should have told here I was unhappy with the room and they would have moved me. I asked her why would you rent rooms where construction was not complete? Upon getting home I figured out pain meds had been stolen!
