I wouldn't go back here or recommend to a friend. Upon check in the agent wasn't too friendly as the shifts change the agent was ok. I was checked in a dirty room I have worked for hotels in the past in that's a No No! I got no apology and was given another room that wasn't even ready yet the housekeeper was still putting towels in it also cig burns in the tub in a non smoking room. Housekeeping woke me up at 830 to check out. I can put in more but I don't have enough room. I was totally dissatisfied and want my money back but I don't have time to jump through hoops. I hope super 8 can make some changes soon.
Quick last minute stay close to home. It was Budget friendly & clean. My bed was absolutely amazing.
The Hotel is average and a bit pricy for the condition. The non-smoking rooms smell like smoke and I had to obtain air freshener to spray the room so I could get a night's sleep. The location is next to a Mall, which is very good.
This was reported to front desk as I was leaving but my room had windows opening right up to the breakfast dining area and my room was next to the kitchen prep room AND public bathrooms. Room 106 I believe. I got woken up SO many times throughout the night due to noise in the public space outside my window and the bathroom. Worst of all, I got woken up at 5am each morning for the breakfast prep. I understand of course breakfast needs to be made and guests need to be accomodated, however there should be a disclaimer on this room (and ones with similar issues as the lady who checked me out said I was the THIRD to complain in that weekend alone for the same thing) or perhaps a discount for those affected. Also, advertising as continental breakfast you should include more than toast, cereal and yogurt.
The rooms are not soundproof, the noise from the adjoining rooms was unbearable. The AC unit was very hard to operate. Either we were freezing or sweltering. The AC unit dripped water onto the carpet. There was mold in the bathroom and the shower head was so low that I had to bend over to wash my hair. I am 5'2". There was a plunger in our bathroom...need I say more. The room certainly was not worth the price we paid. Smoking is permitted in this motel, and the stench was overwhelming.
I was not expecting much but it did not even get close to that. It was extremely sketchy. Went to go to the room and could not get the door open. Eventually got it open . I was afraid to close it behind me as I felt there was a possibility I would get stuck in this place. When the door open the smoke smell was overwhelming (I mean overwhelming). Went downstairs to the 2 guys who were sitting their at the tables eating (the guy who worked at the front desk and someone else). Mentioned the door and the guy said you need to pull up on it while kicking it to get it open. Mentioned the smoke and one of them said I will come up later and spray it with something (not going to do it). It was very late at night and did I want some guy wandering up later after he finishes eating with his friend. The condition of the room was not great either. The door lock did not appear to work yet you could not get the door open anyway. The walls were patched (it looked like by a blind guy) and patches did not even match. It did not feel clean, clearly smelled and was not safe. It was the worst place I have stayed in a long time, if ever. My colleague was in another room, cleaner and smelled less then mine and said he was going to sleep in his close outside the blanket. We were literally there for a few hours and it was too long. Sort of feel bad giving it 1 star, like I am misleading others, but zero stars was not an option.
The gentleman who checked me in was very kind and accommodating. I had a special request for a ground floor room and he managed to arrange one for me even though the hotel was very full. There were several people checking-in at the same time and he gave each person his full attention and service. I got a great rate and the staff was friendly and kind. I'd definitely stay here again if business brings me back to this area. Thank you!
I was greeted by a man who told me my room was bout to be cancelled, so I was lucky I showed up when I did. Apparently my debit card had expired and wasn't going through. It was not the most pleasant interaction I've had. The room was fine, clean enough. The AC unit smelled like wet dog when turned on. The bathroom shampoos were good quality.
Had to move from first room assignment because the bathroom wall was full of black mold, due to leaking air conditioning unit. Entire floor smelled of cigarette smoke, even though "no smoking" signs were all over the place. Major renovation, carpet, furniture and fixture replacement necessary. Really gross.
Hotel basic but clean and very good value. Manager (Neal) absolutely brilliant, so helpful. Would highly recommend.
