Check-in staff was friendly and professional. Property was until recently a Howard Johnson, so conversion and update is ongoing. Cleanliness was sub-standard: walls have stains, floor feels a little sticky underfoot, and office chair had crumbs on it.

Check in was easy and quick. The motel had nice features. But I don’t think the rings are cleaned very thoroughly. Our bathroom had a strong urine odor. They offer breakfast but the eggs were cold. Most things seemed to be still frozen, even the fresh fruit. Maybe it was just an off day. Convenient location and the attached restaurant was good.

It was a quick overnight stay, beds were firm and comfortable. Only a 10min drive to downtown Portland for dinner. Loved the heated pool and the gym options. Breakfast was a decent selection and food was hot and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful stay we had here! The room was clean and had a nice mural on one wall. Beds were SO comfy! Brand new owners (as of begining of June), staff was attentive and kind. One of the owners, Ahmed went above and beyond providing superior customer service at every interaction. I was in Portland just for one night, after being in NW Maine for 2 weeks dealing with an awful situation. We needed good food and quality rest. Ahmed and other staff recommended wonderful restaurants for meals and nice areas to explore. The weather was in our favor thankfully! Uber is easy to get around anywhere you want. The restaurant right nextdoor has good quality food (totally family friendly) strong drinks, lots of locals and friendly servers. I barely missed the free breakfast because of the wonderful comfy beds, but Ahmed offered to extend for me (I declined as I woke later than I expected and had to go to the airport) Has a nice pool area, was very calm. When I come back to Portland, I know where I'm staying!!

We stayed for one night only to catch an early flight. Looking back at the pictures of the facility, it’s accurate, but when you first walk in it’s a bit shocking. There is an interesting variety of characters wander in the lobby and halls. Don’t let me forget the barking dogs. Super fun. When you get to your room just stay inside of it.

Understanding that the property is undergoing renovations we entered our floor and the hallway was lined with toilets and boxes. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Biggest issue is noise. There were guests yelling all evening and a major party happening on the floor above us. I called the front desk after 3 hours of excessive noise and they said they would handle it however the noise and yelling continued until 1:15am. For that reason alone I wont stay here again.

Was just ok.

Lobby was suspiciously quiet- not a bad thing, but it was so strange to not have any kind of music playing at all. Room was nice- but the cabinet in the bathroom needed fixing. The door fell off when i tried to open it and it almost broke my husbands toe. Turns out it wasnt even screwed into the cabinet. This was probably the worst breakfast we experienced on our trip- no spoons, coffee was cold, eggs were horrible. Guests were going through cabinets trying to find things.

The stay was great! Affordable for a family (2 kids, 2 adults) Beds were amazing! Kids and I really enjoyed the pool and how late it was open. Front desk staff was incredible and super helpful and friendly. The interactions were genuine; not forced like typical chain hotels. Very refreshing and welcoming. With the new ownership and renovations it has drastically improved, I can't wait to take the family there again! Can't forget the free breakfast, delicious! No complaints from either kiddos...hard to do!

Terrible Stay.

My stay was terrible. We got there at around 7pm. We entered our room and the room was clean and looked in good shape, but it wasn't. Our shower had not shower curtain. One was put up at 9pm. Went to get into bed and there was no bottom sheet on the bed. (Found this at 1030 pm.) Our TV did not work. Went for our free breakfast within the time it was to be opened and there wasn't any food left except some fruit loops and enough batter to make a waffle. Nothing was ever refilled, even the drinks.
