We arrived at check-in time and were given our room keys promptly. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. When we got to the room, it was clear it hadn’t been properly cleaned. There were used drinking glasses on the nightstand, a dirty rag left in the shower, and the shower itself looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in quite some time. When I pulled back the comforter, there were visible stains on the sheets that appeared to be bodily fluids.
I immediately notified the front desk, and they told us the room would be cleaned. We waited over an hour and a half, only to find that the same dirty room remained — the only change was that the used glasses were gone. We were then told we’d receive 25,000 points for the inconvenience, which we never got.
Management eventually moved us to a different room, but it was just as dirty as the first one. Hair was all over the bathroom and floor. The only positive thing I can say is that the bed was somewhat comfortable, but that’s where the compliments end.
This hotel is in desperate need of better management and housekeeping standards. We should have been refunded, not downgraded to another unclean room. I would not recommend staying here to anyone.
