This is the 5th time I have stayed in this hotel - the location is excellent . The hotel is a great value in the over priced Singapore market. You will not be disappointed!
Good hotel walking distance to downtown in the middle of bars and restaurants. Perfect to go out or even a hotel for business. Financial center is between 10 and 20 minutes walk. Close to Chinatown . MRT is 5 minutes walk. Walking distance to orchard road and little India.
at the third day, requested to extend two more nights. Been told at the counter fully booked. Go online and can easily booked even at lower price with online agency. Physical presence is less important than virtual booking.
Room was clean with minor issues maintenance fixed right away. Location is superb with the MRT close by and right on Clarke Quay. A great value at the rate paid.
I was on a biz trip in Singapore and this was the first time staying at Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay. The location is defintely good and the night out is also works well.
This hotel was what we hope for in our last 2 days in Asia. It was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Most importantly, it was convienient to all the various things we wanted to do in our short stay, ie, near the park, shopping, busses, and mainly, walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Clark Quay.
Hotel was great, good view, perfect location, near all entertainment, dinning, amusement, and shopping. Never had to take bus or cabs anywhere. Had open wifi in nearby areas but many required service, did manage to connect to a few restaurants wifi though for good service. No issues at all.
toilet not working, TV does not work, and I was charged extra for nothing!
Great hotel , staff and location. Stay here if you are not sure where to stay in Singapore, everything is nearby, food, bars, transport, river cruise etc. If you don't need to stay on Orchard road in the center of Singapore, Novotel Clarke Quay is close to the center and better located for all activities other than Orchard road shopping.
I was on business and found the staff very helpful and courteous. Wished the gym had a couple more tread mills. Also, missed a better movie selection and international news channels.
The hotel is next to Clark Quay so there are lots of restaurants close by. There is a grocery also. The hotel has an all you can eat beakfest buffet that was not included with the room. This is probable Orbits fault. Had to pay SG$ 19.00 but it is worth it.
Superb service, beautiful view, nice gym, yummy looking restaurants. The one downside is S$50 per night for Internet in the room. Don't buy it. There's a nice Internet cafe for S$3/hr in the Stamford House about 4 blocks north of the hotel. Beds were a little hard, but the room was newly refurbished and might get more comfortable with time. We were on the 13th floor facing the bars in the Quay but had little noise making it up that high.
The staff were helpful and flexible with minor changes upon check-in. Food is very good. Pool is nice. Fitness room is very small. Only 2 treadmills, a bike and a universal gym.
Located in the centre of one of the main entertainment districts in Singapore, the Hotel Novotel is situated along the Singapore River close to Fort Canning Park. While the high-end restaurants and bars are convenient there are also some tasty and affordable local spots just down the street. The MRT is close by and Fort Canning Park is a great place for a jog or leisurely stroll. Free Internet in the lobby via a couple of iMacs and a Japanese grocer in the basement of the adjoining mall are convenient. The rooms themselves are a bit small but this is definitely a nice, clean and affordable spot to stay in Singapore.
