Small room, but very clean room with amazing daily cleaning service.
Good location and very convenient with a lot of good restaurants. Night Staffs does not smile, seen like they don’t like their job.
Much smaller compared to the advertising picture on their website. Room has a weird old smell. There was no shampoo or shower gel. And they only give out 2 towels a day.
Have stayed here before. Quite a small, basic, room but clean and convenient, and tough to beat the price for a reasonable place in Singapore. Even provided tea and coffee in the room. Conveniently located in the heart of the vibrant Geylang district, and surprisingly the room was nice and quite.
Clean, short distance to public transportation, easy way to the airport
Although the room was clean , I was shocked at the condition of the bath towels they looked like and felt flimsy. I was also horrified to find the toilet bowl, face sink and bathroom shower in one small room with no separation between them. All the drivers I encountered asked me how come I choose this hotel as it has no ratings.
For Singapore's standard this hotel seemed reasonably priced for its location, and that's what got us into booking it. However, when we actually saw the insides of it, it all went down to disappointment and disgust. Rooms are very small (from wall to wall you can bearly fit a double bed), walls are thin (so you could unwillinglly know your neighbors' doings), and -worst of all- there seems to be an uncontrolled pest problem in the premises. Cockroaches abound. Small, large and everywhere...even by the bed. Obviously we reported the problem to the hotel's staff and, in spite of their promise to get in charge, we still found roaches after coming back at night.
The neighborhhod smells so bad and is very dirty for Singapore. Far from the MRT but close to buses. I asked for a quiet room and they put me right next to the elevator. All floors are tile and you guests talk very loud and are uneducated. I paid $60 for a tiny room and barely slept (stayed 2 nights). Better staying in a hostel and save $$$. AWFUL EXPERIENCE.
Hotel is located in Geylang and is considered the red light district of Singapore. So I expected it to be a not too good of a location. However was pleasantly surprised, the location is pretty quiet and clean, had no problem at all with the location. It was a perfect place as a base for sightseeing and great value. Clean and comfortable bed and clean washroom. The place was just newly renovated. It was a small room but it's all we needed. Close to the bus stop, walk to Geylang and turn right, go to the bus stop in front of 7/11. Take bus 21 or 26 and get off two bus stops later, then walk back a few meters to the LRT on Kallang. From there you can go to all major centers and attractions. Transportation is really cheap. The only downer is you have to pay 5 dollars for 2 hrs of internet.
