This is my first stay at W Sentosa, stayed in other Sentosa hotels previously. Impressed with the room, very clean and with the "W" edgy design similar to W HKG. Staff were professional and friendly. Hotel location is slightly remote, however there is still a row of nice restaurants near the hotel to chill if you would like to venture out but not out of Sentosa. Was slightly disappointed when I could not locate a handy phone. A friend of mine who had stayed at W previously shared that the same handy available in W HKG is also available in W Sentosa. Called the front desk and they shared that the service is no longer available. Had to make a trip to the nearby convenient to grab the cheapest SIM card available.
"Nice Location, Friendly Staff, Great Design,... Rooms "Fabulous" with Pool view : bright colorful and quiet ! Impressive Pool, nice service. Good Vibes at the WooBar, music... Healthy Breakfast at the Kitchen Table. In one word : highly recommendable hotel !
I have been here twice for a conference and it is a good location for exactly that, however if I was on a family, or couples break I would not be totally overjoyed. It is set some way from the centre of town and you have to get a taxi to and fro.
Staying at The W in Sentosa Cove in April, I had the great privilege of meeting a very friendly bartender by the name of Nesh. This man was incredibly inviting and had incredible expertise in the beverages he prepared. You could tell he was a man who loved his job and serving people. It was a pleasure to meet him and the rest of the staff at the W. Definitely recommend it.
Located inside an exclusive residential enclave on Sentosa Island – center for lively attractions such as Universal Studios and Adventure Cove Waterpark, W Singapore Sentosa Cove location creates an atmosphere perfect for a hideaway. The hotel is surrounded by ONE 15 Marine Club lined with beautiful yachts and hip restaurants and bars in Singapore. As is the case with most W hotels, the architecture and decor was really fun and stylish. The front doors opened to a foyer with an illuminated wall and fountain, the entrance to one of the hotel restaurants, as well as a staircase and two elevators leading to the main lobby area and WOOBAR. The main lobby was fairly large, with windows looking out over the resort and several seating areas, including an outdoor terrace. After we checked-in, we had dinner at The Kitchen Table. They have wide range of selections, from asian to western food and not to mention their fresh seafood since they are located at the coast. My tummy can’t contain the happiness after so many eating and chewing activities. We stayed at the fabulous room. It was beautifully-appointed with 42 sqm of space and a private balcony with amazing view of the pool and pier. Upon entering my room, we were greeted with an adorable welcome amenities. Welcome note, luggage tag tied to hellium balloons and kueh. Smooth wood amplifies the surroundings, a glowing, nature-inspired world in the room and custom orchid-patterned carpet set the stage for the abstract floral wall motif. Meanwhile original lighting fixtures reveal butterfly and flower details, the mood lighting adds more wow factor to the ambiance. If we are talking about W Singapore Sentosa Cove wouldn’t be complete without taking a dip at the WET Pool. A favorite place to sunbathing, unwinding with a drink in your hand and your feet in the water.
Had 4 nights in this fantastic hotel. Bright light and airy... just what we needed after our flight. Staff were extremely efficient, friendly and welcoming. We had vouchers for the Kitchen Table and seriously didn’t expect the variety of food we were able to indulge in. A great place for couples and families with young kids ... with the added bonus of Sentosa fun just a bus ride away. Highly recommended and if given the chance will return again.
Just finished a 6 night stay at the W and couldn't have loved it more. I can't fault it and would definitely return. The pool was amazing and very kid friendly. There is a whole section that is only 90cm deep so smaller kids can still stand. Sleep: noise wise, probably the best hotel I've come across. Those rooms are seriously sound proof. No noisy neighbors, no hearing doors early in the morning. Plus the beds & pillows were soooo comfortable. If you don't like your pillow, there is a huge menu to choose from. Heaven. Location: I was a bit worried about this with the W being on the other end of Sentosa island, but the Sentosa bus B runs every half hour. Then the W have their own bus that seems to run about the same so plenty of options. Just outside the door there is a set of restaurants with plenty of options to choose from. Taxis are fairly cheap too, $22 for the trip back from the zoo which was about half hour. Service: Everyone is super friendly. The staff at the pool bar would remember your drink preference each afternoon and a special mention to Shan & Kelly who gave the kids in our group (including my 4 year old) a mocktail making class which they loved. Would definitely recommend a stay at the W and I can't wait to come back one day.
Sentosa has tons of option again for hotels and one we picked was hotel W, Sentosa cave. It is very highly rated in tripadvisor and boasts of arguably one of the best swimming pool in Singapore. The hotel is located in one of the expensive areas of Sentosa and is in one corner of the island. The complete decor of the hotel, its lobby, reception, rooms are all superbly done and with modern retro feel. We arrived around 10:30 in morning and though checkin was at 15:00, we were given early checkin upon request. That was pretty helpful as we wanted to get some sleep. The room was sufficiently sized and everything was well though off (Most beautiful tea bags I've ever seen). We stayed in Wonderful room which is the basic category. The view wasn't that great though. The bed was super comfy, room had most of basic amenities and ac worked great. The bathrooms were superb and I specially loved the rain head shower. he room service did great job and we always found no complaints there (despite our kids making mess of room everyday). My only slight downside was the in house restaurants were super expansive and vegetarian choices were very limited. We went nearby to one Indian restaurant and also tried and Italian close by but both were equally expansive but tasty food. The complementary brealfast that we got was superb and stayed till 11 AM (great for late risers like us). There were lots of continental choices and something in Indian menu as well. The taste was pretty good and there was live egg counter as well. I didn't find tea/ coffee to be that good but juices were all pretty nice. All the staff that you meet anywhere would greet you with a big smile so full marks there. Surely a hotel I would return to.
We just got engaged that day and was surprised by my fiance with a stay at W Singapore. It was a beautiful hotel with amazing facilities and rooms. However, we had horrible neighbours that made the most noise! They were having a party next door and yes I understand that they signed a form that they will stop making noise at 10pm. So at 10pm we called the reception to tell them to stop screaming and shouting and they sent someone up but 10mins later the party continued. We had to call the reception (over 8 times)and even go downstairs at 1am before they finally did anything to stop the party. The party was very disruptive to our wonderful weekend and all the hotel did the next day was to offer us tea at the hotel. Felt that being a luxury hotel, this matter could have been settled in a more professional level. I am not sure if we will return. We only slept a few hours that night.
Check in process was easy as I opted for mobile keyless access. SPG Gold status was promptly recognised but no upgrade was mentioned. Sad. Fabulous room was what we expected but it sure did have a lingering musky smell. No sure was it due to sea/marina bay area where yachts berthed. Lighting was too dim for comfort. Wish they have control to adjust brightness rather. Bathroom was big, with bathtub, separate WC and shower area. Service attitude displayed throughout was friendly and willing to help.
