Don’t stay here if you want to sleep in!!

The worst thing was the checkout time being so early and the baths closing early. Absolutely awful. I had no time to sleep enough and I missed the baths in the morning. Why would you close them over an hour before check out? It’s as if you don’t want people to be here.

Wonderful place to start or end a trip to Tokyo. Building and spa area were very clean with ample amenities. As someone who has never been to a Japanese onsen, it was an interesting experience, and the provided materials make the process smooth. Be sure to plan around the bus schedule in advance. This was also my first experience with a pod hotel, and as a fairly tall person (6’2”), I was a little worried I’d feel cramped inside the pod, but luckily I was able to stretch all the way out. I admit my feet were very close to reaching outside the pod, so if you’re any taller than me, you might want to consider different options. My only real gripe was the uncomfortably thin mattress pad. You can definitely feel the hard surface underneath you the entire time, especially whenever you sit up or toss and turn (which I did quite a bit throughout the night). Unfortunately I was not able to try any of the food or the stone bath as I arrived too late and left too early the next day, though I did appreciate the extensive manga library. I’d also like to commend the front desk staff, especially the woman who helped me figure out the bus schedule and how to get to Tokyo from the resort. With some google translate and a lot of patience on her end, she helped me get my head on straight and start my vacation off on the right foot. Would recommend.

Can't believe I get to stay here!

Amazing site and helpful staff. The onsen was great and soothing. Everything you need for a day or two is on-site. I'll gladly make a return another time.

This place left a great impression on me!

I absolutely fell in love with this place! The Onsen was such a blessing start my trip with such relaxation! The food was fantastic and the restaurant, there was no reason to go anywhere else. The capsule itself was comfortable enough Although I would have preferred a little more padding. Temperature was not controllable But it was The end of January so not bad period for me it would be a concern in the summer. I am very glad I was aware based on a previous review that even when you stay multiple nights you must check out at 9:00 a.m. and then you can come back at 10:00 a.m. there is no going back into the room until 1700 so you basically can just hang out and read the Manga and enjoy the cafe and the spa. I did get a body scrub there which is my new favorite thing! I added on the lymphatic drainage which I think the woman took pleasure in the pain she caused LOL I actually have bruises on my arm and my legs were sore for 2 days but hey it was still nice. And very affordable. During my checkout time I walked over to the Family Mart and 7-Eleven for a snack. I am familiar with it now but as this was my first arrival days in Tokyo I'm glad I read the review where clothing is not an option in the onsen! However it's a beautiful ritual where you clean off and then soak and then you can take an entire shower head to toe with facial care afterwards and sleep like a baby later! I will definitely be back to this place it was darling!

I had a poor experience. The only showers in the building are connected to the onsen. Upon arriving I was told my tattoos were too big to use the onsen publicly and loudly. The staff had very shameful behaviour, making a scene and laughing at me in the large change room. I was then permitted ( as an exception) to use a private onsen to shower for 10minutes. It was just previously used and super dirty. The staff continued to be rude till my check out the next morning.

I never actually made my stay here because my travel arrangements were disrupted by a long plane delay (International flight). As soon as I realized this was going to be the case I got in touch directly with the property. They were incredibly kind and allowed me to cancel with a refund (just this one time). While I don't encourage travelers to expect this, but wanted to share because it's meaningful to receive a little grace when things are not in your control traveling to a foreign country. I will book here if I'm in the area again.
