The location is perfect but that's not all, the accommodations are just fine, too. We stayed in one of the A-frame lodges even though it was just the two of us. With the loft bedroom the unit could easily have slept 5 or even 6. We wanted the extra room compared to the motel style units but next time maybe not. Clean, comfortable friendly and just right for viewing Bell Rock, Cathedral as well as being directly at the trail head. Absolutely what was promised and that is very refreshing.

I cannot have loved this place more. Clean and cosy, we stayed in the A frame super lovely cottages. Our family of four was very comfortable. We hiked right into the most gorgeous area in Sedona. The trail is right on the other side of the beautiful pool. The view is like a post card. Reasonable. And, Tracy is a dream.

We stayed in one of the chalets for three nights, and thoroughly enjoyed the location and quiet. The views of Bell Rock and the surrounding area are glorious! The trailhead was footsteps away from the chalet and an easy walk with our dog. Pets are welcome! Each chalet has a table with umbrella and four chairs. The chalet itself had a small kitchen area with basic accoutrements, which was quite handy and comfortable. There was a bedroom with a queen bed downstairs, a living room area, one bathroom and dressing area, and an upstairs loft, which had queen and twin beds, and was reached by a narrow spiral staircase. As much as we enjoyed the chalet, I removed one star because it needs some serious updating. It could be fabulous, but it's just okay. Also, there is no housekeeping service, although there is a linen closet with plenty of towels and pillows. As a whole, however, we loved it and as long as you don't require luxury, you will love it, too!

Amazing views in a perfect little chalet. There is even a trailhead on the property that we did as soon as we got here. Very clean facility and friendly people. Appears to be super dog and kid friendly. May bring the whole family next time!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our trip to Sedona. This motel is in the Village of Oak Creek. We were very happy we were not right in Sedona. We arrived on a Thursday and left on Monday. This area is not as congested as Sedona is. We were able to walk to the trailhead for Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte. On Saturday we tried to go to a restaurant for dinner just south of downtown Sedona, but the parking lot was packed. We turned around and headed back to Oak Creek and had dinner there. There are benefits to not staying right in town! The room was adequate and we would stay here again. The price is reasonable, we were close to hiking trails and it's not right in Sedona. We enjoyed the bonfire each evening. It was nice chatting with other guests while sitting around the fire. However, we missed the daily housekeeping services. If we stayed again, we would request housekeeping halfway through our stay, at least. I guess I misunderstood, and thought they would clean our room half way through, but my husband thought we needed to give 24 hr notice. I'm assuming the lack of housekeeping allows them to keep their prices down. I don't think the absence of housekeeping is clearly explained on their website. Also, I did notice dust around, especially on the hairdryer, and the light switches were disgusting. I always use an antibacterial wipe when we check into a hotel room, but I felt like I actually had to "clean" the light switches as opposed to just wiping them down. A " clean freak" would not be happy here. On the plus side, our room did have a full sized refrigerator, a small stove, a microwave and a gas grill right outside our door. We did not use the pool or the hot tubs so I cannot comment on them. As I said before, we would stay here again for the location and the reasonable prices.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Red Agave. If you are a clean freak like myself you'll be very comfortable there. Although it is simply furnished, they were very clean. It was nice to have our own kitchen. You cannot beat the location! You only have to look out your window to see the view of Bell Rock which is right at your doorstep. The backyard area was so quaint, birds singing and flying from tree to tree, a beautiful firepit and the view was stunning. I absolutely loved it there and would go back in a minute! I usually don't write reviews but this place really was wonderful. I was a bit hesitant when my husband booked it because I usually love the luxury type places but this was great!

When we first checked in we were greeted by a very nice gentleman- so informative and very lively. It was my first time in Sedona (and on this coast) and he had a deal of info on where to eat and what to see. The VIEWS from our Studio (Humming Bird) were spectacular! There is a heated pool and hot tub which we used the last night we were there. Yes, the rooms are a little quirky but come with a full kitchen- they just ask that they clean up after yourselves which is just common sense and respectful! Awesome for a 2 nights stay with my Fiance.

We rented a studio unit. Not many frills, but location, location, location! We wake up to the red rock formations right out the window and the trail head about 30 yards away. If you are focused on hiking and biking, then this is for you. There is a bike rental about 2 minutes away. Very clean unit and friendly staff. The studio unit is rather small, but fine for two. The bed is in an area with the refrigerator and kitchen table, stove, and sink. Then you have a bathroom sink in another small room and the shower and toilet are in a room behind that space. One big closet. Two nice night stands. Sliding doors and a big window face the red rock formations. Each studio comes with a mini gas grill, two plastic chairs outside and two metal chairs and table. The studios are all connected so no side windows. Been here three nights and very quite at nigh. There is even a community fire at night, as an option with s'mores supplied. Pool is modest size but great to jump in after a hike. Also two hot tubes to nurse those sore muscles. Simple but practical and beautiful setting. Near a few breakfast places because no food is offered for meals. Easy to shop at grocery stores for independent folks. Free wi fi and TV. Of course, a coffee maker and some kitchen supplies for coking. So lovely that people have weddings here which might make it noisy on some weekends,. Enough... If you want a simple place with extraordinary views and a spot out of the bustling of Sedona, but close to Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock and Court House, then make a reservation!

Located on a quiet side street, with great views of red rock country. Otherwise, it needs a complete overhaul -- funky rooms, oddly designed, saggy mattresses, lack of sitting space and counter space.

Was here with friends in Sept. We had booked a chalet which included 2 bedrooms. We were 5 of us. 2 each in one one room and the 5th one could sleep in the living area which has a comfortable sofa cum bed. We reached very late and dint know wat to expect of the place. But wen we got up in the morning we were mesmerised by the views just putside pur chalet. Sunrise falling on the red canyon made for an awesome backdrop. Its a great place to stay. Highly recommended.
