Don’t know where to start. View is breathtaking. Room is extremely clean and comfortable. Bed was fabulous. Creekside relaxation and view was excellent. Within walking distance to great restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend. A must stay if you’re in the area and want a great little retreat.

I absolutely love this place. We stayed in Room 1. King size bed (very comfortable) with a spa tub/shower. It is at the end so our view was great of the creek and mountain. It was right off the lobby but NEVER heard anything, very quiet. They were so helpful with any questions you may have and give you suggestion for places. It was in walking distance of shops and restaurants. I will suggest to stay on the creek side as I heard one woman love her room but wasn't to happy with the road side.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Sedona pick this place! My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary and we had the best stay! I mentioned that we would be here for our anniversary and they had a bottle of wine and a card waiting for us. We really appreciated the nice touch. Our room faced the creek and had a wonderful little balcony. We sat there in the evenings sipping wine and watching the creek. I would definitely get a room facing the creek. We really enjoyed the view, especially when waking up in the morning. Breakfast is included. The breakfast was the typical continental breakfast. We did enjoy eating it on the patio looking out on to the mountains and creek. There is an area where you can sit down by the creek and it was extremely peaceful. The plus though was that it was across the street from our favorite Sedona restaurant, Elote. This will be our new go to place for our anniversary. I can't wait to go back.

It was like you had the whole place to yourself. Beautiful and quite. Our room over looked the river. Was extremely clean. Great continental breakfast. Beautiful patio to enjoy the early morning and cool evenings. Highly recommend.

The Inn Above Oak Creek unquestionably deserves its number 1, five bubble ranking for accommodations in Sedona. My husband and I just returned from a five day stay at the Inn Above Oak Creek. We returned for a second year in a row to celebrate our anniversary. From the minute we arrived we were met by helpful staff and a warm comfortable atmosphere. The Inn Above Oak Creek is not a bed and breakfast. It is a unique small luxury style property with a decidedly Sedona feel. It is in the perfect location to walk to restaurants and shops in Sedona and to easily access the town of Oak Creek and Red Rock State Park. The property is located on the bank of Oak Creek and our room included a balcony with a picturesque view that faces the creek. The sound of the creek and the vista of the red rocks provides a quiet park like setting that is perfect for relaxing, reading and nature watching. We typically stay in large hotel resort properties and value the privacy that accompanies a stay in a large property. After reading other traveler reviews, we decided to try the Inn Above Oak Creek to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and we were not disappointed. The staff was extremely helpful and available if needed but respected our privacy. We had such a lovely time that we will definitely return to the Inn Above Oak Creek in the future.

Just around the corner from Tlaquepaque and highly rated restaurant The Hudson, Inn Above Oak Creek is a hidden gem. Room 12 was all it was billed to be. Views, quiet, and comfortable. We were content to relax and let the world slip on by.

This place could not have been better - we stayed in the suite, which was incredibly spacious and well done - great shower, full kitchen, ucomfortable bed, 2 bathrooms, 2 decks, 2 fireplaces, perfect location near main part of town but away from the crowded areas, etc. Breakfast was good with many options, the decks overlook a calm creek, and 2 great restaurants ( Hudson and Elote) are across the street. Staff members were very helpful with tips on local sights. I guess the stairs might be an issue for some, but this was one of the best places we have ever stayed at.

This place is so awesome. Location is perfect - right by everything but also right next to the creek and with gorgeous views. So many things that make this place special - from the water and chocolates upon arrival to the beautiful interior, and the help-yourself tea, movies, and games. They even offer a small continental breakfast which was nice. And the service was above and beyond. The price was so reasonable too. We would love to come back again!

This is one of my all time favorites places we have stayed of all time! The inn is neat. The common area downstairs is spacious and offers many things to do. The room we stayed in was smaller but just the right size. It did not feel crowded. There was a balcony outside our room. The bathroom was nice and clean. They offered all the amenities that were needed. Everything was just perfect and I wished we could have stayed longer!

I cannot say enough about how much we love this place! We stayed here twice in May during our vacation. It is a beautiful place to unwind and have some romantic time while taking in the views of the river and mountains. The rooms are perfect with jetted bathtubs, soft beds and some with balconies. The property has chairs right by the river and beautifully kept ground for a leisurely wine tasting. Breakfast is enough to get you going in the mornings with muffins, sweet rolls. fruit, juice, coffee and oatmeal. If you want a full breakfast you have full access to the kitchen. I have to mention we asked to change rooms during our stay. We wanted to take in another view room. Lonnie was so professional and helpful they took care of our move while we were eating lunch. We came back to our room set up and all our luggage taken to our new room. Take advantage of the knowledge of Lonnie and Kim they know Sedona. Lonnie gave us information concerning eating and visiting areas that were handicap accessible. We were able to enjoy our days in Sedona because of Lonnie and the wonderful advice on where to eat and place to see. The Inn Above Oak Creek is a secret worth keeping. Shhhhhh.....don't tell.
