The property was being renovated, so it wasn't in the best shape. The pool was fantastic, though, and great for young kids! The bed was comfy in the room, but the room itself was pretty plain and felt empty due to lack of decor or wall art. I would stay here again because the cost for the value was good, but it was mediocre overall.

We stayed here twice! The 1st time was amazing everyone was friendly and the room was amazing. When we came back a little over a week later, the room was awful! Look like it had carpet that had been there since it was built like 30 years prior! The staff at the breakfast space was rude and made us feel so uncomfortable! It's so back in forth because the 1st time was so amazing that we wished the 2nd time would be the same! BUT BOTH TIMES the man that came to get us from the airport and take us back was WONDERFUL! He needs to be paid top dollar because we loved him so much!

Room was way too hot when I arrived. 78 degrees with the heat on. The only AC mode was auto cold and hot, so when decreasing it by any amount, the cold air would blow. There was no way to put in a setpoint and have the air stop blowing. It always seemed either too cold or too hot due to poor air-conditioning thermostat.

The room smelled funny. There was a train track directly behind the hotel. And trains passed all through the night. Hotel had ear plugs, but charged for them. Breakfast was weird. Some sort of mystery meat sausage that tasted like a sponge. And no real scrambled eggs. Nothing was seasoned. And coffee was not strong. Blood drops in the lobby upon arrival. Loud guests in the hallway.

Great family friendly hotel

Every staff member was super friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help us. Rooms were clean and nicely stocked with everything we needed. But our absolute favorite thing was their pool and hot tub. Also being right next to the Bullwinkles is awesome for family’s too.
