Is more of an extended stay hotel and thats what we needed. We booked well in advance and, thus, got relatively good prices. Prices per night doubled in the 3 months after our reservation. The first night was horrible as we were on the highway side and the windows are not sound proof. It was as if the windows were open. The next morning we asked to be moved and, luckily, they gave us a room on the other side. Three days later, in the new room, the Air conditioning broke and we were then given a bigger room...well, I kind of pressed for the upgrade since this was the second move in 4 days. But, in the end the reception realized that the guest comes first. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit, no canned! Room size great, efficiency kitchens great, Laundry room great, beds a bit on the softer side and the sofa bed was, well, a sofa bed. The fitness room is average and very small. There is no stationary bike, but 2 treadmills and an eliptical and some free weights. We didn´t use the pool. One thing was missing and that was a room safe. Personell were friendly and we will stay there again.

We were visiting family in Scranton and didn't realize graduation weekend was the same weekend. We paid over $200 for a noisy room (both from other guests as well as from the highway), which had only a queen bed and a horrible sleeper sofa. Luckily there were only three of us so the third person slept on the couch in "couch mode" as it was way too uncomfortable to sleep on as a bed. The bed itself was comfortable enough. The extra space and little kitchen were nice too, but we didn't get to use that on our short trip. The minuses far outweighed the pluses though, especially for the incredible price we paid for this room.

On a long trip, this hotel was one of my favorites. Although end of workday traffic makes for a slow arrival, it was worth the wait. Not wanting to face that traffic again, staff offered a list of restaurants that deliver - what a treat! We were traveling with our pet dog, and requested second floor, having learned that foot traffic on first floor is a challenge. Also nice is the separate bedroom with door for even more seclusion of pet from hallway noises. This property is a little worn looking but still a very good stay. Staff offer superior customer service with a smile.

This is a different design than the usual Residence Inn. This hotel has a central 3 story building that has an elevator and the breakfast room and a conference room. I had a 2 room suite on the 3rd floor. Nice room and the privacy of two spaces. My only complaint is that the curtain linings--intended to block light-- had several big holes so light shone through during the night. The breakfast was ordinary, the same as all the others with powdered eggs etc. I liked this layout much better than the usual Residence Inn! However, they need to replace their front doors with ones that allow easier entrance. There are two sets of doors with a vestibule in between and no power assist for either door. Not easy with luggage or a stroller much less a wheelchair.

The staff and upper management here have made this stay very good. We travel for work and have struggled in the past finding a good extended stay at a reasonable rate. We've been here since February and have been made to feel at home. On site laundry, indoor pool, basketball court and very clean rooms. The social nights allows us to eat compliments of the staff and gives us a break from eating our own cooking. Top notch if you ask me.

The price was 95 for the night... for a one bedroom suite.... outdated... but very clean.... stayed with 3 people so only coat is 36 a person with taxes.. Breakfast was ok... eggs and turkey sausage with fresh fruit... would stay there again because it's clean and price is good ...

Nice hotel. Location is close to everything. Hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was good and ready on time. Could use to go boxes to bring food out. Rooms were clean but need to be updated and revamped. All in all hotel was nice. Rooms near highway can be a bit noisy. Like most hotels near highways.

We stayed in the one bedroom suite for 2 nights in February 2017. We checked in using the Marriott app, so everything was ready for us by the time we arrived. This hotel is located behind the Fairfield Inn, which confused us at the beginning. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was clean, but we needed extra towels, pillows and blankets, which the front desk provided promptly. We found the bed in the bedroom comfortable, pillows were nice and fluffy. The sofabed was a bit uncomfortable and there was a broken spring that popped off. The shower was nice and hot, with good pressure. The indoor pool was nice (a bit cool). Towels were provided there. A hot tub would be a perfect addition. Complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold items. We mainly chose this hotel because of it's location near the highway, shopping, and dining. We also like that the room has a fridge and stove, so we were able to cook some of our meals. Also, it was less than 30 minutes away from Elk Mountain, although Montage Mountain is much closer and offers snow tubing, which Elk doesn't have. This one bedroom is quite a bit smaller than the one bedroom we stayed at in Morgantown, WV, and much smaller than the studio we stayed at in New Orleans, LA.

Stayed with my kids in one bedroom suite for 5 days in August 2016. The front desk clerk was nice and check in was a breeze. The room was fine and comfortable for us. The indoor pool was nice and temperature comfortable. The hot breakfast was very good and some options varied daily. The location was perfect for us. Hotel is located within a mall area next to Staples & Best Buy. There's also a ton of shopping and food options nearby.(do need a car). It's a short 10 minute drive to Steam town & Lackawana coal mine. Also, very close to the Circle Drive-In which was a real treat.

When we first entered our room we were astonished to see dishes and cookware all in the dishwasher unwashed. Gross! We went back and asked the front desk to change to another room. Well, the second room also had some left in the dishwasher, but the remaining cookware was still available. Tired with a day of travel we decided to settle in the room. The “washed” utensils all looked somewhat in dubious state. We had to wash them before use. Carpet in the room wasn't that clean either. The hotel’s back is adjacent to a Sam’s Club. All night, we woke up hearing trucks backing up and forth with loud beeps. The bed wasn’t that comfortable either. Our sleep quality was pretty bad. The hotel is overall dated and needs renovation. The only bright spot was the breakfast which was better than what we had expected. But we probably won’t stay there again given those problems.
