Friendly staff, convenient location in town. The rooms were a bit small but had everything we needed. Most impressive was the truly gorgeous architecture inside this converted rail station!

The staff is fantastic. They go above and beyond.

It was beautiful. Great restaurant.

Wonderful place to stay

The hotel itself is beautiful. Loved the Trax Bar and the woman working. The man who checked us in was rather cold and not overly welcoming. The towels in the room smelled weird, and there was old gum on the floor that clearly had been there a while and made the carpet sticky, so I didn't feel comfortable walking around without shoes.

Very unique building, appears to be an old train station that has been transformed into a hotel. Large parking lot, but they do charge $5.30 / day. There are two dining options, a restaurant and a bar open til midnight. Perfect location for visiting University of Scranton.

Loved the view. Nice staff. Comfy beds. Good shower. Walking distance to Steamtown Mall/downtown. Noisy heater. No microwave in room. Breakfast not included. I'd stay there again.

Excellent location and beautiful accommodations

Most of the staff are doing their best. But the place is visibly dirty (it wasn’t always the case; I’ve been staying here since 2018 and it used to be nice). The in-room safe was broken. One of the duvets had stains. The floor in my room was covered in glitter and…staples, which were sharp. The walls and ceilings were covered in dust and cobwebs. The front desk somehow gave my room to someone else in the middle of the night, hours after they checked me into it, resulting in a guest unlocking the door and trying to get in while I was sleeping (thankfully I had the deadbolt on).

The property is definitely past it's heyday, but the history, low-cost parking, central location makes this hotel a convenient stop on our drive grind the Midwest to the East Coast.

It is sad to see that the pictures online do not truly portray the reality of the condition of this property. The exterior of building itself it’s beautiful, however inside this hotel is in need for a total refurbishment. The carpet is old, the walls are old, the bathroom is old, the windows and window sills are old. My window sills had bugs, dirt (small rocks), spider webs, and in addition the “white” curtains were beyond beige not to say black, I arrived there shortly after 9pm so it’s dark outside, for me to be able to still see rhe dirtiness of these curtains/windows can give you an idea of how bad it was. My kids did not even want to stay in the bed, the sheets/thin comforter were old and smell like dampness. The whole room smell damp. The only thing that it seems was renovated was the headboard of the beds, other than that, it was terrible. They placed us in an adjoining room and we could hear the other guests as if they were having a conversation next to us. The back area of the hotel seems abandoned. There is so much more to say, but I’m done… it was the worst experience ever. Be truthful to the pictures you post and the “rating” of your hotel. You are maybe a one star, but no where near a 3. Total disappointment.

the noise air condition was going on and off and we couldnt sleep :-) it was not central air

Love this hotel

it was beautiful place but don't think i should have to pay to park every night
