First off it is being remodeled which wasn’t a huge issue but the staff who currently set up in the business office never made a sound to guide us over to them to check in. We walked around and found a maid who told us where to go. We were surprised there were two of them behind a desk. That means they both ignored us. The room was nice in appearance but that was it. The tv in the bedroom area did not work as the cable to the tv had been cut. The side table light didn’t work and the water was luke warm at best. I would not choose to stay there again.

Unfortunately, I was not made aware at the time of booking that the hotel was under renovation. I stayed there last year as an overnight stop while traveling alone with my young son. The stay was so wonderful last year that I booked again this year to give us a chance to recharge before continuing our road trip. None of the amenities we were looking forward to were available. The pool was cold with most of the lights out, the restaurant was in the breakfast area, the walking path to the gazebo and fire pits were inaccessible. The sounds of construction tools while we were trying to rest made for a very restless night. Instead of leaving refreshed and happy, we left tired, frustrated and disappointed. We did enjoy the friendly staff, however, the evening and night shift seemed very overwhelmed and understaffed. I spoke with Jerry Mitchell, who was very helpful and shared in our frustrations. Had I known the hotel was being renovated, I would not have booked the room.

3 of our 4 day, there was little to no hot water for showers. I spoke with the front desk clerk two consecutive days for hot water for a shower and she said she would "turn it on" in the back. I have NEVER BEFORE experienced this. We won't be returning.

It wasn’t a good stay. The first room had blood stains on the sheets when we first checked into the room, it was highly disturbing that you keep those sheets in that room and made us feel the cleaning crew was not thorough and the room wasn’t actually cleaned. Quite frankly, it was disgusting. The second room we went to was the door was super shaky and would move multiple inches when it was “closed”. Didn’t make either of us feel safe at all. Nothing was done.

We had a wonderful stay at H I east mountain. The staff was amazing and so welcoming. We had a balcony with a great view and the food at restaurant was great. No problem with parking, large areas to park. Will definitely recommend to anyone interested in coming to stay there.

We were given a handicapped room which I guess was the only room available due to an event at the hotel. Construction in and around the hotel. No vending machines or ice. Limited TV stations. Our room was very humid/warm even with the AC on high.

The room is quiet and cozy. Air conditioning does not make noise. A small table and cushion set are handy to eat something on the table. I was unable to use the microwave because of a child safety option. I followed the instructions but I could not use it anyhow. I stayed 2 days and the room was cleaned after each day.
