The hotel receptionist was really rude and harassed us about the ice, parking and checking out. Wow, very unfriendly and uninviting, amazed she is in the hospitality business. Other hotel that are much more inviting around the area!

Older historic hotel, no pool even though it is advertised as having one on some sites. does have mini fridge in room, nice cozy feel. Walking distance to food and shops. Could use new carpet in the rooms.
Location could not have been better. Our room overlooked a small park and the bay. Ferry landing, shops and restaurants were only steps away from hotel's front door.
Great location- you’re close to everything and easy to find. Parking was a breeze. Great staff - Michael was quick to respond to emails, Robyn greeted us with humor, warmth, and immense knowledge of Sausalito. Great housekeeping- they had our room ready for us for an early check in, and had our room ready our second day by the time we arrived back from breakfast. They are attentive! The hotel itself needs sprucing up. The furnishings in our room 208 need more refinishing than deep cleaning. The wood armrests on the chairs are tacky sticky because of product buildup and the armoire interior has dark scuffs and scratches that take away from its charm. The patio wasn’t quite ready for guests but I could see summertime potential. I loved our view of the park and waterfront and the stained glass window in the bath. We did have a keurig but no ref or microwave. I would return here in a heartbeat!
