My wife and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was great clean and comfortable. The hotel has a very old school charm while still having all the modern amenities. Our only complaint would be that the hard wood floors were very loud and squeaky. But that was a small price to pay for the value we received at Avery reasonable price. We will be back to Seattle and plan on staying here next time.

Location is excellent and central! Few things didn’t work-phone, fridge, shower handle fell off and no plug for tub. We asked and were told there is none. Also sparse towels-had to ask for more- and the comforters are very thin. Otherwise clean place and nicely redone!

The rooms we updated for a hotel like this *******(((((

The bedding was dirty, when i pulled back the covers there was hair and deep yellow stains. It smelled heavy of smoke. The towels were dirty well. You could see human waste were someone dryed their back side. To many problems to even cover. I did ask to change room, and for new bedding and towels, they said because they were busy they couldn't accommodate. I was stuck, i feell sorry for them, the owners. Clearly they have lost hope. It was so bad my anger flipped to the other side to sympathy. How desperate they must be to completely no care at all. I will nerer go back, and will not use Orbitz again. I don't like having to comfort unethical people. If thats what Orbitz supports they i cant support Orbitz.

Great location. Good price. Comfortable beds. Clean.

Convenient location. Big room. Thank you for having a iron in room.

Really nice rooms but FULL OF ROACHES!!! I booked 2 rooms and both had roaches everywhere to the point that one fell from the roof onto my 1 year olds face and more on the wall!!!!! I called and they didn’t want to proceed a full refund after 1 hour and a half of booking. Terrible staff rude!! I wouldn’t ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is one of the most economical rooms I have ever stayed in--very small and compact, but very functional and has everything you need. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is the best thing about this hotel, in the sense that it is so close to Saucilito without those high prices, just off the 1 and near the 101. It didn't bother us, but you are facing a semi-busy street and there is traffic noise. Great deal for the money.

Beer bottles left in room, old apple found under desk, beds not made up even though we checked in at 5:30 pm and website says check in is at 2:00pm. Bath nozzle didn't work. Trash and dirt on floors. Obviously this place is not well maintained and not professionally ran. Not worth $150 a night. Feel like Motel 6 is better.

The rooms are small but efficient. They are clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was better than most high end hotels. Very close to San Francisco and Muir Woods. 20 minutes to the Pier and about 20 minutes to Muir Woods.

I will stay in this hotel. It is close to hiking trails, the town of Mill Valley and the freeway. It is a good hotel for the price.

Nice place, clean, good cable, continental breakfast as expected. But I get a feeling from the staff that any time you book through discount websites they hate it. I walk in and the host greets me with a smile. I said I have a reservation, and when she sees it, her demeanor changed, she went silent, gave me the key card like a robot, said the room number and walked back to her room. I had more questions, but she was gone. No small talk, just cold. If they dislike discount websites that much, then don’t accept its business. The other staff member was a bit nicer, but the experienced was ruined to the point I didn’t even want the breakfast. Just cold treatment, they could at least pretend to be happy.

Highway robbery. I stayed at Maui the week before on the beach for $312.00 for 2 nights and this place was $300.00 a night. Outrageous! Under construction with workers banging and materials everywhere. Coffee was water in lobby. Machine didn't work. Didn't service our room our second night.

Definitely not as advertised. Dirty room very rude staff.

The room was clean and everything worked, but the experience was scary. The motel is hard on a road. The staff barely spoke english. My assigned room was upstairs and a very long convoluted walk to reach. I was afraid to leave any valuables in the room and carried them in and out with me when I left. Stay at the Holiday Inn Express across the street.

The exterior of the hotel doesn't look to appealing but the rooms are remodeled. We had two queen size beds and the room was pretty big for the price you pay. They are still remodeling other rooms and the exterior. We had a room facing the main highway which was a little noisy but not to bad. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Close to little shops and eateries. First exit once you cross the Golden Gate Bridge. Close proximity to San Fran makes this little Motel a great value.

The rooms seem to be remodeled pretty nicely, but you can still tell it is an economy place. The "breakfast" was pretty much cereal boxes and juice so that was a little disappointing. If your room is on the road side you get a bit of road noise in your room. It isn't unbearable, but noticeable. You get what you pay for with this place so don't expect anything fancy but for what you pay it is a good deal and I would stay there again.

From the outside, you would never guess how nice the little rooms are inside this Americas Best Value Inn, and they really are quite nice. New, modern furniture, real shutters, a large television, cleanliness, and privacy were all unexpected. I stayed a week and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
