A little run down, but much less expensive than the other alternatives. Right next to a pleasant stream/nature.

Not what pictures show and not worth the price charged. The property is old and run down. Its next to the Hwy and the insulation is not good so we heard cars driving by at night. The carpet in the room is very old and dirty (has smashed food stuck in carpets) There is no vent in the heater (too old and broken off) so when its on it just blows directly out without being able to control the direction of airflow. There's a big gap at the bottom of the door so when car lights are on when we are sleeping, it lights up the room. The front door had cracked and peeling paint. Would not recommend or stay their again.

Place was clean close to the city and John Muir National Park.

There was weed in the drawers and the sheets had stains.

Very nice. Stayed for work and it was perfect. Quiet and in a good location.

very old structure, carpet, shower. Not a pleasant room at all. However, the location was convenient.

Not bad, based on the rate I thought for one night it was ok

clean and comfortable. very nice surroundings, arrived at night so did not see till morning, what a pleasant SURPRISE !

Small and outdated rooms with dirty carpet. Bathroom door fell off hinges, would not recommend.

Great area. Enjoyed Sausalito for food and shopping. Thanks

Will not make reservations with hotels that have 24 hour advance cancellation rules. Photos are sometimes misleading.

Excellent staff, friendly and kind. Very clean, great accommodations.

Probably one of the best price/location ratio for visiting SF area. The motel is located right next to US-101, just north of San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge is mere 6 miles away, and the Muir Woods is roughly about the same distance away. The neighborhood is quiet, and despite being right next to the freeway, I could not hear any traffic noise. There are gas stations, a convenience store (7-eleven), a big grocery chain (Safeway), a fairly big camera store (Mike's Camera), and a few fast food joints as well as some restaurants. In short, as a place to stay/sleep at night while you take in the San Francisco sights in the daytime, it's a perfect location. The staff was very courteous and friendly, so top marks on that. As for the facility itself, it's basically what you'd expect out of a roadside motel. But it's quite well maintained and clean. The bathroom in particular was squeaky clean, which I appreciated. The bed was clean, and I slept comfortably. No comment on AC/heater because I didn't need it. Two complaints: 1. The shower stall is quite tiny. It was manageable for me, but I can see it being uncomfortably small for some guests. 2. The wifi connection is terrible. Very, very slow. I ended up just using my mobile data.

Quaint, clean, quiet, and all around good for a budget stop in the area.

The room was a simple, had a pitched pine ceiling which was nice, and was very clean

The hotel located in quiet area near San Francisco. A free breakfast contains variety of danishes, bagels, tea and coffee. The staff was friendly. Since this is just a motel, we did not have high expectations. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

We went price shopping when I found this Very affordable yet pleasant. The property is being renovated as they can accommodate, and our room was freshly painted. We had to ask maintenance to shave our door down as it was very sticky (from the fresh paint) and had to slam to close, which they did promptly. I would pass on the Indian restaraunt attached in the front, but take advantage of the Cable Car coffee next door. Would stay there again.

The hotel is old, dated and not well maintained. It is over priced for the quality of the facility. I had to use it due to location and time, however not worth it. Indian restaurant in the facility serves great food.
