Featured as Pet Friendly when in fact a limited number of rooms are pet friendly; I needed one room, two dogs, two nights.I booked as such.I expected a charge of $20/night, per dog= $40 x 2 = $80. I was attending a huge event in Sault Ste. Marie, the provincial Baseball finals.On arrival at 6:30, Friday night, I was told they had no Pet Friendly rooms available, and I must have neglected to register the dogs.I had budgeted for them, as one was my daughter’s.There were no available rooms, on a Friday night, on Labour Day holiday weekend…Also, your website/property booking system is so poorly devised, I wasted an entire afternoon making the reservation.I paid for your “insurance” as well…The helpline number 1-555… is no longer in service…As far as I’m concerned, you are fraudulent scammers.I had guaranteed my reservation with a credit card, which was billed when I reserved, however, when my reservation was neither guaranteed, nor available, a refund could not be issued by the property.When I tried to request a refund, my Itinerary 15-digit number was requested.
I had no access to my email account while dealing with your horrific booking system, WHILE TRAVELLING.I had to return to the property on Sunday and ask the Day Manager to call Expedia for me, as I was not leaving until I had documented proof of a refund, in print.A second property had graciously agreed to allow my two dogs to remain past check-out time as temp that day was 28*. 2 hrs. later, proof of refund owing…
