Hampton Inn & Suites Mobile- Downtown Historic District

Convenient. Clean. Comfortable. :)

When we arrived, my only complaint was that the GPS took us to the side of the hotel where you couldn't park without paying (next to Jimmy John's) and we didn't find out until later that there was temporary parking on the backside of the hotel...but no big deal. Tip: metered parking in Mobile is free on the weekends so skip the $9 parking if you are frugal. Great service, nice lobby, elevator was quick, rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable and had neat views of the city. There was a sub shop attached to the lobby so we could grab a quick bite. Overall, yes, we would stay again (and again).

La Quinta Inn & Suites Mobile-Tillman's Corner

Refuge from storms

Traveling with elderly with intense thunderstorm approaching. Googled nearby hotels to wait out storm - actually several waves of storms. La Quinta was our pick and it was a pleasant surprise. Staff so friendly it was like coming home to good neighbors. Breakfast was another surprise. They did have bagels and muffins but also biscuits, eggs, sausage, grits, and gravy. Southern girls home. The unexpected, unplanned overnight stay was budget friendly and truly a happy accident. Will stay again.

Great hotel close to many activities

The hotel stay was wonderful as always. I am originally from Mobile so we do make frequent visit down there. The Drury has become our mainstay hotel. From the very polite and helpful staff to the wonderful complimentary breakfast. The cleanliness of the room and the comfort also. This hotel has always been in out top three! We will be back again.
