So much mold in the room. The window frames were covered. The bathroom had moldy grout, nothing Tilex wouldn’t fix, but in a four star hotel? There was a round, brown conspicuous spot on the carpet that looked a lot like a dog had relieved itself there, and no formal carpet cleaning was done after. The WiFi was painfully slow and the TV color scale was way off. The hotel’s decor is very nice upon entry but the room itself gave me the ick and I would not stay again or recommend.

We love the staff here. I travel for a living, so I am in many hotels all over the world. I give this hotel a "Good" rating because of the staff as well as the lounge area in the lobby. This place is beautiful. However, they are understaffed. The rooms are acceptable but not what I consider clean. We have stayed here twice now. The same room completely by coincidence. The room smelled dusty/moldy upon arrival I believe due to the heat not having been used prior to our visit. There were stray hairs throughout the room. Ledges were not dusted. The room was not refreshed for us, assuming it had been empty since our last stay? The bathroom is just funky. dust, hair, splatters. All rims below the knees have thick dust, the shampoo bottles were 1/2 empty. So not terrible but I did make sure to clean the room myself before unpacking. Also, there was something jammed in the peep hole which i did not dare touch. The closet hallway light fixture was falling off, and bulbs were burnt out. I am assuming there is not a cleaning manager. We have stayed twice and will stay again because the staff is great and we love the location. This is a great middle of the road hotel with great aesthetics. Also be careful when valeting here. The valet company is not affiliated with the hotel. We received a parking ticket on our first visit, which still has not been rectified so that cost us an extra $100. so far. We did valet again this time and will wait to see if the same thing happens.
Shampoo already opened and partially used
Gorgeous entrance
Some piece of paper stuffed in the peep hole which I didn't dare remove but cleaning/maintenance staff did not remove or fix before our stay
Mirror chipped which i add a picture of because several items just had this kind of wear and tear.

The room was great! Everyone was very courteous and helpful! The bar staff was also great!!! I recommend happy hour as the food I tried was very good!!! Vallet was helpful and I received text messages from them and the hotel ensuring all was going well!! The restaurant and cafe were also very good! I was within walking distance of everything I wanted to do and the restaurants I wanted to experience!!! Highly recommend. The room was very clean. If I had to say one thing it would be that the restroom was a little small. Yet, it did not affect one minute of my stay!! The overall experience was great, and I liked the eclectic vibe of the hotel!!!

Tiffany, Shari, Krystal, Jazz, and Jeremiah were great! Very classy historic hotel, good food in bar, and excellent piano player there. Only two disappointments:(1) A big ripoff was the $25 fee for parking and (2) they were unable to print two very important forms for me from a flash drive.

While the facility was visually appealing, the overall stay was underwhelming. The shower had visible mold, and the room had an unpleasant odor. The property also appeared to be understaffed, which affected the service. Both the bartender and the restaurant host were not particularly welcoming. Overall, this experience made me reconsider staying at boutique or “unique” hotels and lean more toward well-established hotel brands in the future.
