Hotel staff are extremely friendly, rooms were clean and safe and in a very nice location. Stayed here one night on business and would definitely stay here again for the price and location. The only thing the hotel could improve on would be having some sort of breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for over a month for business. I found it to be a really pleasant experience. The rooms are very comfortable, with kitchenettes, a desk, recliner chair, good tv, and an excellent new bed and pillows. The location is 2 blocks from all the downtown nightlife and restaurants on Dauphin Street. And the hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. And the prices are very reasonable. Also free parking. I would recommend it highly even for a longterm stay.

Location, location, location! The hotel was clean, had highest quality beds, towels, nice walk in shower you can't go wrong. We walked to the Listening Room of Mobile, 2 1/2 blocks away, awesome music. We also walked to restaurants plenty going on. The hotel had top quality gas grills for paying customers to use. The area had a television mounted nearby for use and quality outdoor furniture. There was no outside noise, the air conditioner worked well and the beds were heavenly. I have a new appreciation for Candlewood Suites after staying at the Mobile location. Parking was $8 plus tax a day but there is nowhere in the area to park, well worth the money.

Loved this hotel, but I'm a huge fan of Candlewood Suites. I appreciate the full fridge, dishwasher, and stovetop. Convenient to downtown Mobile. My only issue with this hotel is the number of federal court employees who are allowed to park in the parking lot. If you try to return here before 5pm, good luck. That middle-aged blonde with the ponytail and lunchbox, wearing her court employee blazer stole your spot.

We chose this hotel believing it would be just right for my 83-yr-old Poppa and his small canine companion. We were not wrong. Marcie checked us in and made certain Poppa and his pet had the best they had to offer. Clean and spacious rooms offered just what we needed to be comfortable. Although the weather outside was freezing, the rooms were warm and the complimentary coffee was good and hot. Poppa found it very convenient to get in and out when walking his pet and we found delicious restaurants close by. We'll be back!

I stayed at this location for 8 days in Oct 2017. I enjoyed this hotel very much. It was quiet for being a downtown hotel. The rooms are very accommodating and came with an adequate amount of items in the kitchen to cook with. The check-in is very easy and the front desk staff was very nice and very accommodating. They have a nice little shop with various items that you may need in a pinch and you can pay on the spot or charge things to your room. Parking is spotty in the main parking lot but they have a garage for overflow parking directly behind the hotel, right across the street, and it seems to be pretty secure. I had no issues parking in there. Overall, this is a great hotel. I would love it if they had breakfast but it was not a terrible inconvenience. They do have coffee all the time. Really, there is nothing negative that I can say about this particular Candlewood Suites. I am just happy that they are as clean and nicely maintained and this all comes at a very affordable price. Try them out. I cannot see you being disappointed.

We stayed down there for a Wednesday night, it was very easy to walk to downtown. The room was basic and all we needed. Staff was very helpful with recommendations. Parking was free and easy to get to.

The Candlewood suites was the nearest pet-friendly hotel of decent quality we could find because essentially the entire state of Florida was under evacuation orders. Because of this there we a LOT of dogs there during our stay but it worked out perfectly. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The vicinity of the hotel was well suited to our needs (i.e., numerous nearby green spaces to walk the dogs, several good restaurants to get carry-out food). I would stay there again (hopefully under better circumstances and without the critters).

We evacuated Naples FL with Hurricane Irma on our doorstep and had a reservation at the hotel. The first night we ended up sleeping in a rest area for 1-1/2 hours and couldn't check in until the next day. Called them and they said not to worry. Finally arrived, checked in and got unpacked. The hotel is an extended stay facility so the rooms have two burner cooktops, dishwasher, full fridge and freezer and grills outside so you can cook if need be. There is a small pool and patio area with a TV so you can sit outside if the weather is OK. Everyone at the hotel was so gracious to all the Floridians staying that it was amazing. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful than they were. If we ever get back to Mobile will definitely book a room here.

Loved the location of the hotel and the fact that it was Pet Friendly was outstanding. Bienville Square is a beautiful square and a great place to walk your dog. Felt very safe in the area around the hotel and in downtown Mobile. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that other "extended stay" hotels offer some type of breakfast and this facility offer nothing for breakfast. Not even fruit or a muffin. The rooms was clean, quiet, great AC, and nice full size Fridge in the rooms. Free Parking was available but a bit limited. Pool area looked very nice.
