Stopped here on a long trip with a dog. Stay was last minute and I just chose it based on reviews but was skeptical. Well, the positive reviews were correct. The hotel is clean, updated, very pet friendly and the front desk staff (I think her name was Jessica) was exceptional! We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

First visit, April 25, 2 bedroom suite, and I planned to write a good review. Second reservation, April 29, our trip was interrupted by illness. My wife is a platinum member, I am only a gold member, but between us we have stayed in many RI hotels in the past year, and in fact stayed in 4 separate RIs on this trip alone. When my wife came down sick and we needed to head home promptly, I tried to cancel my reservation, but it was past the 48 hour advance cancellation time. I explained our problem, desk clerk could not help me. She gave me the manager’s number, and I left a voice mail which she never answered. They charged us for the room. They were entitled to do that, but they could have waived it. In my future trips along the Gulf Coast I will stay elsewhere, not at the West Mobile Airport Residence Inn. This is my first negative review of a Residence Inn.

Stayed in a beautiful, spacious 2-bedroom suite with a fireplace...fully-stocked, clean kitchen...very friendly staff, especially the breakfast hostess...delicious, fresh breakfast with lots of healthy choices!

The hotel was doing a complete remodel when we were there the month of Feb. The staff were great during the remodel trying to make sure we were comfortable. Brandy gave us a real warm welcome and a big southern hug when we left. Vanessa was really a great help to us when we needed something. We most likely go back again for a months vacation. Dauphin Island is about a 45 min drive away and is great for biking and beach walking. There is also a large park a few miles away with all kinds of birds to watch and nice paths to walk. Mobile is a great place to visit. The staff loved our cat.

Checked in and found that could not hook up to wifi. Front desk personnel said that it would be up shortly. Two hours later it was still down. Spoke with another person who was helpful and actually pulled it up on my laptop. Thanks to her I was able to complete my test. I plan to mention her name on Marriott survey. The breakfast was horrible!

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Stacy and her staff at the Residence Inn. We were evacuated from Destin and found ourselves in Mobile Alabama. We came in tired and hungry . Stacy and her staff not only found dislodging at the Residence Inn, but set us a delicious gourmet hamburger dinner in the evening we arrived and a full breakfast in the morning . The rooms are clean and spacious . Because of the evacuation there were many pets in the facility, but hardly ever heard a bark from any of them . Stacy and her staff were very quick to meet our needs . May God bless you all for your generous hearts .

As a Hurricane Michael evacuee, going to a hotel in Mobile Alabama was not on the top of my list, but my son booked this Hotel as it was the only Pet friendly option still available. After a shaky start - room not ready when we arrived (after we received a phone call asking us if we were still coming, we were at this point about 20 minutes out) after about 90 minutes we were given the keys to our one bedroom suite. The room was extremely clean, spacious and very quiet. We initially booked the room for 2 nights but had to extend, the lady at the front desk was extremely helpful in keeping us right where we were for our additional nights. The hotel provided free breakfast every day and dinner two night that we were there. Every one was very friendly and considerate of our situation. If you have any reason to be in Mobile off I65, I can highly recommend this property and as someone that travels all over the US for my job, I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised.

We have pets and were under mandatory evacuation due to hurricane Michael, so we booked this hotel Monday night. It took us 3 hours to find a hotel to reserve, because hotels booked up FAST. Tuesday afternoon, after driving for over 5 hours, we show up at the hotel to check in, and we are told there are no rooms because of some flight cancellations and people keeping their rooms. I understand that is inconvenient for those people, but driving for 5 hours to be turned away when every other pet friendly hotel for over a hundred miles is full was not exactly the cherry on top of a fantastic day for us either. But it doesn't stop there- the Residence Inn in Gulfport pulled the SAME exact thing on my friend today, who was in the same situation that I was. She arrived only to be turned away, and ended up having to drive another 3 hours. Love Marriott, but feeling very let down by them right now. :/

This property's location is very convenient. It's right off of Airport Blvd, the center of Mobile, and super close to a plethora of shops and restaurants. The staff was SUPER friendly. I was checked in Micchelle who is originally from D.C. (I hope I spelled her name right) the evening of August 16th. She was very helpful and conversational. Unfortunately, that's all the nice things I have to say about the hotel. I hope it is on Marriott's lists to get a facelift in the near future because it needs it. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the 3rd floor (room 309). I was pleased with the room's spaciousness and cleanliness; but, the room seemed to "retain moisture". The room was very humid to the point that the carpet was even moist. Turning on the air conditioner and opening a window helped - but only a little. The breakfast was also disappointing. I only saw two choices of fruit all the time I was there: bananas and cantaloupe. I liked that they offered turkey sausage, but its quality was not great.

We booked through our app and stayed one night in a two bedroom suite and everything was exactly as we'd hoped -spacious, well kept, quiet and very clean. The beds were comfy and the sitting area was just right for us. Breakfast the next morning was included and we had scrambled eggs, homemade oatmeal, the waffle bar and more. The hotel's general manager came by our table to ask if everything was meeting our expectations and we all gave a thumbs up. We'll be traveling back through Mobile in a few weeks and plan to stay here again.
