We were in town for my nephew's first communion. It was the perfect distance from the church and from our relatives' home. The staff was friendly and the hotel was extremely clean. We would definitely stay again!
This is a great hotel. The staff was superb and really helpful. We went here to avoid a hurricane and the people could not have been nicer. From Check-in to check-out this was a really nice stay. It is located on airline highway which can be challenging to exit. There is plenty of parking. Breakfast is served in the main lobby every morning. The room had a kitchen, a large outer room, a very nice bedroom and a large bathroom and dressing area. I would definitely recommend this for a place to stay in this area
Not bad could be better. Staff was courteous and location but she will convenient to the use anniversary of South Alabama. However there was a musty smell of the room and there seem to be a bit of a difference when I mentioned it. Second they had asked for housekeeping to come as late in the afternoon as it got. Mentioned it to them as well and asked if it could be an air conditioning filter or an overloaded drain pan or something and other staff was courteous didn't do a very good job following up as to what the smell was.
Wonderful place to stay for business or pleasure! Facility was clean; staff was personable and accomodating. Location is accessible to airport and restaurants! Had a great experience. would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel at a reasonable price.
2 single-night stays over a 2-week period. Experienced HH-diamond-level business/personal traveler nationwide. Pros: Property cleanliness and condition...lobby clean, bright, and inviting. Rooms modern, well-appointed, clean and bright, climate control good, plumbing good, bed comfy, plenty of convenient power outlets. Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is well executed. Location can't be beat in terms of proximity to airport and west-side-of-Mobile businesses. Cons (these need attention from the property management/ownership ASAP): (1) This is an EASY one to fix with a minimal expense: Breakfast area NEEDS trays to allow guests to carry their food back to their rooms. Business and other childfree travelers do NOT want to sit in the common area surrounded by families and their free-range children, or be forced to watch whatever's on the common TV...especially not given that the guest rooms are so nice, and food can be brought back and heated up in the kitchenettes if need be. This is a no-brainer for management...get a supply of cafeteria-style trays from a discount supplier. (2) The in-room TV system at this property is simply God-awful. Now it's true that this problem afflicts many hospitality properties nationwide as it depends who the local or available satellite providers might be, etc., but it's also true that many Hilton-brand properties nationwide have upgraded to the DirecTV system, which is a real difference-maker for guests. With such an inviting property and otherwise-top-flight guest rooms, the last thing any guest wants to do is be tortured by the in-room TV system...s/he just wants to settle in and relax. At this property, during both my stays the remotes barely worked (required precise aiming), changing channels took forever on each click, there was no paper channel guide and the on-screen guide was non-functional, and in the case of my second stay in my room the channels DIFFERED between the front and back room TVs...and the front room TV kept freezing up, requiring me to unplug it from the wall and re-plug. And in case mgmt. reads this review and asks why I didn't call the front desk: It was 11PM, I was exhausted and not about to go through either a room change or a troubleshooting exercise. The darned thing just needs to work, period. Investment in the TV system may not matter as much to properties in resort areas, but this property is in an area where guests might well spend a fair bit of time in their rooms...the TV system matters.
This hotel was a wonderful Hotel modern and its furnishings and nice surroundings right by the airport but a little hard to find tucked back in the trees lots of places to eat around this hotel. Very affordable. We stayed here on our way to Gulf Shores it was a great stop before our vacation
I stay at this hotel a lot when I come for business. The hotel is clean and the staff is always friendly. The complementary breakfast is great, lots to chose from. And I love the happy hour offerings too. It is convenient to shopping and restaurants. I recommend it.
Stopped by for one night on our way to Florida. Check in and check out was quick, and all the staff were very friendly. Breakfast area was very clean and was kept well stocked. The hotel is well maintained and very clean, would definitely stay here again if in the area!
From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the service, the environment, and the wonderful people. The room was great, the bed was comfy. I loved having a refrigerator and ice available. The two televisions were awesome! Everything was great! I want to bring my family back and stay here again! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
My co-workers and I stayed here overnight for a conference. We had a great experience. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean, and the hotel well-kept. We ate breakfast there before we headed out for our day. The breakfast area was clean. The food was hot and very tasty. Overall, very pleased with our stay here.
