Cozy inn. Close to restaurants and shopping.
OK for 1 night, but to noisy.
The hotel itself is quite charming. The courtyard outback is very pleasant a lovely place to spend with a morning coffee or evening drink. The little town of Santa Paula is adorable in its own right lots of wonderful places to eat and share drinks Would most definitely recommend this quaint charming little hotel
Nice and clean. Love the homestyle looks and feel.
Short scenic drive over the hill to Ojai the hotel was easily accessible to restaurants main roads very economical very clean very good stay
The Santa Paula Inn was a quaint historic hotel right next to the Main Street and only 20 minutes from Ventura and Ojai. The back road to Ojai was a beautiful drive where we stopped at a stunning overlook of Ojai Valley that really made the trip. Breakfast is no longer included but they have a fridge and microwave in the room.
Good bed and breakfast in heart of downtown or what downtown they have very private .Love it.
Love the cute homey quality of this place. It has beautiful architecture.
I did not like the fact that there were no hangers in the closet and the television did not work' the lady in charge was very helpful but just the same it was not fixed .
100 yr old inn, recently renovated - charm plus current amenities, and close to restaurants
Super quaint and clean Historic Inn, walking distance to the Historic Old Train depot, way cool. 😎
Decent boutique-like inn, which I’ve enjoyed before, but appears to be suffering from a lack of attention or care. The bathroom sink in the room I stayed was clogged… It was somewhat usable and I did report it to management, so hopefully it will get addressed, but I find it very strange that this was not a known problem is clearly other people would have noticed it and Shirley reported it. The proprietor on duty was surprised to hear, so it wasn’t known by them. Of more importance, and a little more concerning, was the mediocre quality of the continental breakfast. When I arrived at the breakfast room, the one pot of coffee was cold, there were crumbs & stains scattered about the floor and on surfaces, a couple of the perishable-like food items seemed a bit stale or just not fresh, The whole area just felt a bit dirty or unkept and not very presentable and inviting. In addition, and this was not a huge problem for me but just felt a little odd, was that I never saw anybody in the front reception area or around on the property during my stay… This included check in, which was done over the phone to tell me where my hidden room key was, which was fine and felt very safe, and all the way into the morning when I checked out and just left my key on the counter. So all in all the whole experience that included these three odd conditions made it feel like I was in a place that wasn’t getting a lot of attention… Now I’m not sure that I’ll ever come back again.
Friendly staff in an older hotel. Not luxurious but a fine place to stay overnight when on the road.
