Welcome to Camarillo Amarillo— a pleasantly comfy space nestled next to one of the last working orchards in The Camarillo Heights! This cheerful single bedroom bungalow is well-equipped for you to chill amongst the avocados and rustling leaves. Amenities include washer/dryer, AC, fiber-optic Internet, a spacious patio setting, ample cooking & dining wares, breakfast items, SmartTV, toiletry essentials, spare chargers, & much more!
This bungalow is functional, clean, and equipped to meet all your needs for a relaxing stay (long or short). Take a load off in the extremely comfy Queen-size bed. Concealed storage for your items is easy in the large armoire with hangers plenty of drawers. We've included an iron and full-size iron board as well. The kitchen has the essentials and then some to prep tasty meals at any time of day. In the bathroom, we have everything stocked to ensure you feel comfortable. The living room can either be a relaxing space for a movie or to watch the game while kicking your feet up in the recliner.
Breakfast Items · The Coffee & Tea Bar will allow you to make your favorite brew utilizing K-cups and bottled water or the Brita pitcher. Assorted teas are available while the kettle is on the stove.
Entertainment · Fiberoptic Internet and WiFi is available. It is BYOL (Bring Your Own Login) for any streaming apps you'd like to stay up with. This is easy with the Smart TVs in the living room and bedroom. Normal streaming/digital TV channels are available incase you don't utilize any apps yourself, but want to catch the news or some game shows. You can also screen share/mirror any media from devices.
Parking · You will have 2 places to park. One space in the right side of driveway (and even slightly on the gravel for a bigger vehicle). The second space is just in front of the bungalow - partially on the property and shoulder of the road. There is also ample free street parking.
There is no wandering in the orchard. The bungalow and backyard are the designated areas for guests.
As your host, I highly value the experience you have while staying at the bungalow. I'm quick to respond to all communications through the AirBnB app. If I'm available & requested, I can welcome guests in-person for their check-in. Otherwise, it is self check-in for your convenience.
The Camarillo Amarillo is located in The Camarillo Heights neighborhood where no two houses are the same. There is a charming back roads vibe in this area as it is an unincorporated part of the city/county with lots of character. You will truly feel like a local when strolling through.
This bungalow resides in a "working" avocado orchard, it is a unique setting, but also must be respected as it is not a fairytale land. There is heavy machinery, tools, and other work items present around the orchard. We mention this so there are no misaligned expectations.
You are within a 5 minute drive of The Camarillo Village Square where you can find Sprouts, Grocery Outlet, Rite Aid, Orange Theory, Planet Fitness, PizzaMan Dan's, Relm Wine & Beer Bistro, Ric's Restaurant & Sports Lounge, Ruby's Mexican Restaurant, Mika Sushi, along with various Salons & Spas. There is also local favorite (ie. "world-famous") Rolling Pin Donuts nearby!
If you're feeling adventurous for a stroll, I recommend traversing any road that leads upward into the hills of The Camarillo Heights. You will get a great workout and the farmland views out to the Pacific Ocean from "the top of the world" are incredible.
Random (yet helpful) Need-to-Knows · The property is part of the unincorporated county area - Camarillo Heights. This area of Camarillo is on mutual well water, which produces "hard water" (please research online if you're unfamiliar). Ultimately, it is more minerally in taste and scent. Some folks may be sensitive to this type of water as it is not conditioned/soft water... it is au naturale, if you will. We have a Brita filter water pitcher to accommodate comfort levels for cooking or drinking. As lifelong residents to the area, we do not find issue with this water type, but think it's important to give folks who aren't from the area a heads up :-) Quiet Hours: 9pm - 7am Designated parking is right side of driveway & in front (DO NOT park in front of neighbors or in their driveway spot). NO roaming in the orchard NO Pets
Towel Rules DO NOT use towels to wipe up spills in the kitchen... paper towels are in the kitchen for those types of incidences

This is a nice quiet place to stay. Excellent instructions from owner. Kitchen has all you’ll need, comfortable accommodations, and close to all stores and restaurants. Very clean, easy parking, nice patio.

Great gem in Camarillo
Very cute and well-appointed 1bd room studio. Very thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need or want for a few days or more! Easy check-in and having a parking space available in driveway made it perfect.
