Great
Quiet area separated from everything else city
Nothing
I booked an king bed, sofa bed and balcony arriving Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. Check in was at 3pm, but the room wasn’t ready until 4pm. That was fine, because they let my kids (4 and 7yo) to swim in the pool while we waited. While checking in, the woman at the front desk helping (gender only only important because the man later on was wonderful) chuffed at me while I was checking in and acted like I was bothering her day. Fast forward to 4 pm, and we get the keys to the room and lo and behold, the lock doesn’t work, (room 6, btw) because “they installed it wrong, so turn the handle up instead of down”- male housekeeping staff. Great. That was fine in my books, too, because as long as the door locked and worked, life’s good. Side note, I was solo traveling with kids. So on to the safety concerns: the door lock didn’t actually work. It sporadically responded to the key card, which I discovered after leaving my kids in the room while I ran to the car. My daughter suggested we come up with a secret knock after that because she only opened the door after I pounded on it and shouted. I then went to the phone and even though it was plugged into the wall, there wasn’t a dial tone at all. Couldn’t call down. The balcony door also jammed shut (fire safety). Other things wrong: tv remote worked sporadically, the sofa bed didn’t have sheets or a blanket. My final straw was the peeling paint in the bathtub and light brown water. I checked out immediately
Medium quality for reasonable price. Breakfast foods were exhausted quickly by the guests. The shower in my room had cold water only.
