ROOM WAS IN LOUSY CONDITION. TOWEL RACK IN BATHROOM WAS TAKEN OFF WALL AND LEFT ON TOP OF TOILET TANK. DRESSER WAS MISSING ONE DRAWER AND ANOTHER DRAWER HAD NO FRONT. ONE OF THE BEDS LOOKED LIKE IT WAS MADE AND THEN SOMEONE LAYED ON IT OR SAT ON IT . FITTED SHEET WAS TO SMALL FOR BED AND JUST BARELY FIT AT AN ANGLE,STORES IN AREA HAVE METAL SECURITY COVERS OVER WINDOWS AND DOORS. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO ESPANOLA!

The property is in very shabby condition. Room furniture very worn and damaged. Bed spreads had cigarette burns. The whole building wreaks of cigarette smoke. The smoke alarms were covered with plastic wrap, which is a serious fire hazard. Also the building is very noisy.

very convenient

The people there were very nice to us and help us with every need

Rated four star on the “under $75 on a Saturday night” scale of stars. For a cheap place to stay on a cross country drive, this place is fine. The bathroom was recently renovated and in great shape, and the whole room had a fresh paint job. I got fresh clean linens. Walls are thick enough that I never heard my neighbors. The carpet is beyond tired, and the building needs some attention such as the back door that only locks if pulled shut hard. My main objection is that some nitwit installed fake room-darkening curtains that don’t actually close, so I was woken by the first light of dawn and lost two precious hours of sleep. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The afternoon manager got me a room close to the door so I could easily bring in my two hand truck loads of portable stuff, and the night manager helped me pick a parking spot where my truck was in view on his security camera. Morning manager let me park under the awning to reload the truck in the rain. Not a “nice family vacation” choice hotel, but fine for my needs and pretty good compared to others in the price category.

Nice cheap motel around the area. Very friendly staff. Not too good Interest connection

not good, the pool no work, is old , not cleaner, the name the hotel is difernt

We needed a place for an event nearby and this place saved us money and we had a comfortable stay. We will definitely keep Rodeway in mind for the future.

The day was good... Annoying that my card room key reset Everyday even after it was set for the duration of the stay,..EVERYDAY! MOST IMPORTANT THING was the refrigerator did not work!!!!!!

Just needed a place to sleep. Not a vacation spot but perfect for a place to sleep and catch up on the new. Staff was very nice and professional. I suppose Espanola NM isn't really a destination spot but could be on the way to where your going. Hotel pricing was very good. Very fair deal.

My last night the hotel night shift manager woke me up at 1:15 AM threatening to throw me out of the hotel for partying and dancing in my room.

...That don't bother me at all! Oh wait. Yes, it definitely bothers me. The hotel stinks of smoke and mildew. Everything is run down and out-dated. There were multiple boogers and other unknown substances all over the walls of the room. The pillow cases and comforter were stained with dark unknown substances. The A/C unit was broken on the front but still provided cool air. They are extremely stingy on towels, soap, and tissues. The breakfast was cold and sugary: sugary cereals and sugary processed muffins. Yuck. There's not a whole lot of options in Espanola, but I think we would have been better off by staying at one of the many casinos in town.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even when I had to check out a night early due to a change in plans. They didn't charge me for the change, which was very kind. The swimming pool left something to be desired, so I avoided it. But the room was clean and comfortable. The only real challenge is that with its location on the street, you can only access it from one direction, so I had to turn around and double back several times during my trip--but that's not anything they can fix, and there's plenty of parking lots to u-turn in nearby!

We really enjoyed this hotel it was nice and quiet and most of all it was clean. the staff was very friendly and the location was great. If you are ever in area stay a night.

Although an old hotel, the stay here was great! Hotel staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious. The following day stay at a more expensive hotel had bad service (room service never stopped by to clean the room). I was very surprised to see that this hotel provided better service!

very clean and the management tries to make things neat, clean and tidy. I liked their pillows.

This was my second stay at this hotel. It's a very convenient location...On the major highway and near the intersections with the others. It's not a fancy place, nor with a fancy price, but for a clean, convenient place to stay, it's terrific. The complimentary breakfast buffet gets the day off to a good start.
