Everything about this stay was exactly as I expected! The room and bathroom were nice, the kitchen had a lot of space and everyone did their share to keep it clean and usable. It was also centrally located, making it easier to navigate Los Alamos without a car!
The perfectly clean room, along with Jacqueline's very kind hospitality made our three nights here really comfortable. We enjoyed visiting Los Alamos, Taos and Bandelier National Monument thanks to Jacqueline's helpful advice. I definitely recommend the Canyonn Inn!
I was a visiting scholar in Los Alamos for 6 months from January 18th until July 18th and stayed at Jacqueline's places for the entire period of time. This was a GREAT stay! Both houses are very clean, fully furnished and contain everything you need to live your best life in Los Alamos. All the roommates were friendly and Jacqueline organized a few gathering that ended up being great bonding moments and good memories when I went back to my home country. Jacqueline is a perfect Landlady, and the tenants were all nice and good people! The place is also perfectly located at walking distance from the grocery's store, restaurants, brewery and multiple trails. I strongly recommend anyone looking for accommodation in Los Alamos to contact Jacqueline! You will not be disappointed :)
I was a resident in Jacqueline's home from December 2018 to August 2019, and I am very grateful that I had this opportunity. It is a very low-stress environment in which you do not need to worry about separate payments for water, electric, gas, etc. All amenities and rent are included in one very reasonable payment which is ideal for the student intern at the lab or someone just visiting town. It was a pleasure to interact with other members of the house during cookouts, excursions to the brewery, hikes, and many other social events. Not to mention the location is perfect for an easy walk to town or trip to the grocery store. Highly recommended!
We spent just one night at Canyon Inn, while visiting nearby Bandalier National Monument. It was just right--homey, comfortable, pleasant. Jacqueline is a gracious and friendly host. And it was fun to experience the group atmosphere in the house, with several longer-term quests who are mostly associated with the Los Alamos Labs. You feel more like a houseguest at the home of a friend you don't know well, but you enjoy their company nonetheless. Not your typical B&B--and that's meant as a compliment.
I stayed for 6 months with Jacqueline and it has just been a great stay! The house was very clean and well furnished, all utilities included, right in downtown Los Alamos. The other housemates were all nice and we had really nice interactions also with the tenants of the other house next door. Jacqueline is really great and very responsive! I can just recommend staying there for short or long term!
I stayed for a over a month at the Canyon Inn while interning at LANL, and I am really glad that I had found the place. The house was clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the landlord really made me feel at home and taken care of. The supermarket is very close (for me, it was a five minute walk), and when it snowed, Canyon was always one of the first streets to be cleared.
I stayed about 1.5 months in one of the room. The Landlord is very kind and generous. The location is close to the supermarket and not too far from downtown and a bus stop nearby. The house includes everything you need for a short stay.
I stayed with Jacqueline for 3 months and have nothing but good things to say about my time there. The house was very clean and well furnished and made the transition to Los Alamos much smoother than it could have been else where. I would have stayed for longer had it been just me living up here in Los Alamos, but my girlfriend was moving up here as well and we wanted to have our own place. The other tenants where all nice and I never had a problem with any of them. Even when all rooms were occupied it never really felt all that crowded either. In short, Jacqueline is great and very professional, the house is great, the people are great, and you can't go wrong with staying here!
I stayed for 3 months in Canyon Inn, while working at LANL and settling in. It is an excellent accommodation for a couple of months since guests have an access to a shared fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room with TV. Each room is spacious with plenty of storage and it's own private bathroom. Location is also very good in a walking distance to the town center and a big grocery store. The bus stop (Atomic city transit) is literally 1 min. away from the house, so commuting to the laboratory is easy and convenient. Jacqueline is very flexible and offers pretty much any type of rentals, from very short (a couple of days) to possibly even a year. She is also very understanding and will always work with you to solve issues. You can be sure that she will make you feel like at home during your stay. I strongly recommend this place!
