I have stayed here many times and it has always been very enjoyable. The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. It's conveniently located to whatever you need. Yes, it's a small town but you're in the heart of it... And Solvang is a quick 2 and a half mile drive. I highly recommend this motel!

Clean room with decent shower and air conditioning thrown in. Chap at front desk was very friendly. Comfy beds and ample free parking. McDonald’s within spitting distance for breakfast. Free crushed ice machine in lobby. Overall very good value for money.

We stayed at this Motel 6 with low expectations given the price, and it ended up being about what we anticipated. Pros: • Check-in was quick and easy. • The room was decent enough for our short stay. • Good location—close to Solvang and Santa Barbara without breaking the bank. • Convenient highway access. • Nearby gas stations, fast food, and a grocery store. Cons: • The room could have been cleaner and is in need of upgrades. • Very noisy neighbors late at night, with no enforcement from staff. • Parking lot felt sketchy—people drinking, playing loud music, and even leaving a urine trail near my car. • Someone left a puppy unattended in their room that barked nonstop, and it didn’t seem like staff checked on it. • Lots of loitering outside at all hours; people smoking near the rooms, and with the doors not sealing well, smoke carried inside. • Weak WiFi. • Not enough pillows. • Poor lighting in the room. • Weak water pressure. • Ineffective AC. • No elevator—be prepared to carry luggage upstairs if you’re on the second floor. Overall, it’s fine if you just need a budget-friendly place to crash, but don’t expect comfort or peace and quiet.
