The staff was welcoming and very helpful in everything I needed. Starting from front desk to the cleaning staff all interaction were positive. The room (with kitchen) was great! Roomy and spacious. The kitchen was up to date with appliances and had all the pots pans dishes that were needed. Breakfast was a very basic continental breakfast. It had coffee , hot chocolate and very few pastries. The location of the hotel was wonderful. We were walking distance to everything making it very convenient for us. My only complaint were with the beds. The pull out couch was extremely uncomfortable, lumpy and squeaky! Any tiny move and you would hear loud noises. The queen size bed was extremely hard making sleeping on my sides very uncomfortable. Needless to see non of the adults slept well our entire stay.

Only thing I would change is people visit Solvang, in part for all the delicious bakeries, the last thing I wanted was MORE pastries for breakfast. Maybe a warm option for breakfast would be nice with some seating outside by the pool.
